Someone told me today that they liked my "knockers".

At the time, I did not know what this meant, so I punched him in the throat. When I found out later what he was trying to say, I felt very justified. I do not understand how some men were never taught how to speak to women.

This city is beyond beautiful, especially at night. I can not enjoy much of it at this time, but no one can take away that skyline view from my hotel room.

I can not wait to explore. I have heard nothing but amazing things about the sights, and the culture, and the food.

I'll have to find someone to accompany me. Any takers?

As though learning the English language hasn't been difficult enough, I'm trying to understand some American terms for when I get to New York.

So far I've learned that 'Soccer' is a muggle sport that is referred to as 'Football' in England, but they do have a sport called 'Football' and it rarely involves the use of feet.

I feel like I need to learn an entirely different language just so I can understand what is happening around me. English is so very confusing. Too many different ways to say the same thing, and too many different ways to spell the same word in order for it to mean something different.

We're losing to the Harpies? Outrageous. It is bad enough losing to the Bats, but I refuse to let that wispy blonde walk away with my our Cup at the end of the season. I imagine it weighs about as much as she does.

A few fun facts:

• A male falcon is approximately one third smaller than the female.

• Kestrels are actually small, stocky falcons. They are also sometimes sexually dimorphic.

After this last week, I need a long hot bath and a shoulder rub.

But of course, both at the same time would be even better. What is that saying? Kill two birds with one rock?

Each night, before my mother and father would put me to bed, they would tell me that I was going to grow into a beautiful, talented, successful woman who would let no one stand in the way of achieving her goals. Do not get me wrong, this view from the top is something I could definitely get used to, but unless I'm digging in my talons to climb to the top, it is...less than satisfactory.
