She's reasonably close to her adoptive family, particularly Jase who is the same age as her and always good for getting into trouble with.

SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
ACTIVITIES: N/A

APPEARANCE:
Kris is just under 5’7 with long dark brown hair and brown eyes. She favors casual clothing which is rarely well pressed, though she will dress up if she has to. She’s not a girly girl, but that doesn’t mean she can’t put on a sexy outfit just to drive the boys crazy.

She can be very fidgety when forced to sit still, playing with her hands, her hair, that imaginary piece of lint on her jeans. Kris just isn’t good at sitting still or being prim and proper and it shows anytime she is put in that position.

She might scowl a lot, but Kris has a beautiful smile when she chooses to let it show. She might be looked at like one of the boys by some, but she’d actually very pretty.
PLAYED BY: Missy Peregrym

LIKES: skateboarding, rollerblading, bicycling, extreme sports, summer, swimming, having fun, parties
DISLIKES: reading, sitting still, school, drugs, her biological parents, being stuck inside
STRENGTHS: street smart, loyal, athletic
WEAKNESSES: cynical, quick to anger, independent

DETAILED PERSONALITY:
To say Kris is a little on the spunky side would be a gross understatement. She’s a cynical girl with a huge chip on her shoulder and she’s definitely not afraid to mouth off, no matter who she is speaking to. Kris’ mouth gets her into trouble more often than not, but she’s also fully capable of taking care of herself.

She has a wicked temper which has landed her in more than her fair share of fights. Kris is the kind of girl to hit first and ask questions later. Or possibly never. Once you’ve pissed her off, it’s hard to get on her good side, but if you’re on her good side, she’ll have your back. Kris can be protective of the people she cares about, whether they need it or not.

Kris is a girl of action. She’s not one to wax poetic about her feelings, but her actions demonstrate how much she cares about the people in her life. Those who know her well know that she feels things deeply, no matter how much she tries to put up an indifferent, tough girl front.

Far from being a girly girl, Kris is active and athletic. She’d much rather being doing something than sitting around and reading or talking. She gets fidgety when she’s not on the go. She can lift more than some of the guys and she’s definitely not one to play the helpless damsel. Her independent streak won’t allow for that kind of thing.

HISTORY:
For the first several years of her life, Kris lived in New Orleans, right next door to the boy who would become one of her first boyfriends. They weren’t in love, but they were close friends who at the age of 13 were starting to build something more when her delightfully responsible parents got them evicted from their home and dragged her north to Chicago where her father had some promise of a new job.

That new job ended up not so much on the up and up and by the time Kris was 14, she had a dad who was in jail and a mother who liked drugs a lot more than she did her daughter. Kris ended up in the foster care system and not long after that, just before her 15th birthday, she was brought into the Forrester family. The temporary foster care placement in their home became something more permanent when the Forresters formally adopted her a few months later.

Kris, herself, has gotten into her fair share of trouble. She is certainly the wild child of the Forrester clan. It seems like she is always causing some kind of trouble, though somehow she's managed to avoid juvie or jail. She's seriously considered dropping out of school and getting her GED. Now that she's a senior, though, she figures she'll tough it out one more year and get a real diploma.

---------

OOC Info
PLAYER NAME: Crystal
EMAIL: hopeguidesme [at] mac [dot] come
AIM/OTHER: hope31516
