Biography: Jackson is very traditional and often votes along with all the other "good old boys." He's friends with the Morrow family and has been a confederate to Gideon Morrow on many of his potential laws (of course, the favor was always returned).

Jackson is typically conservative in his approach to lawmaking, preferring to keep the order and not rock the boat. He is a friendly man, even if he's not very open to new ideas. One of his redeeming qualities is that he's very concerned with public safety. He votes with the Leos in mind, since his son is an officer. He also donates money (and occasionally his free time) to charities for worthy causes.

He has been married twice; in typical political style his marriages ended in messy affairs. This knowledge was not widely circulated if only because his family is a large shareholder in the New Meridian News; Jackson is very good at avoiding bad press because of this. He has two children from his first marriage.
