Black hair and green eyes are a striking contrast, offset by her angular facial structure.
Age: 20
Birthday: April 2
Codename: Nyx
PB: Noomi Rapace
Abilities: Gymnastics, endurance training, an eclectic blend of martial arts, assassin training, parkour, an assortment of bladed gloves - either with spring-loaded claws or retractable wrist-sheath blades.
Weaknesses and flaws: Has a deep-seated need to be better than her mother, to prove that she made a gargantuan mistake by giving her up. Even though a part of her understands why, having lived that life, she still feels immensely rejected; making her emotionally unavailable and sometimes cold.
Character location/Home: Old Gotham
Alignment: Anti-hero
Team: Unaligned
Relatives (living/dead?): Mother - Selina Kyle; Alive. Father - Unknown.
Backstory: Having been given up at birth, it could have gone either way for Jaida. She could have been adopted by a decent, loving family; raised properly and given love and affection to have her turn out as a normal, decent human being. Of course, being the daughter of Catwoman, there really was only one way it could actually go; which was the way it did. Shunted around the system like a unwanted pet, Jaida learned quickly that there was no such thing as 'love' and that the only thing she was good for, was for the money the system gave her foster parents - most of which never went near to being used for her benefit. She made a habit of running away, preferring to life her life on her own terms, even if it meant using herself as collateral. She learned to pickpocket - though, not well enough to avoid being caught by an ex-assassin with her hand buried in his satchel. Instead of chastising her or beating her, in a rare turn of good fortune, he decided to educate her. Even at the young age of nine, he could see the potential, the resolve, the ability to push herself further. As he was getting on in his years, the idea of having a pupil to pass on his knowledge to appealed to him - and so Jaida was given a very thorough education on not only how to defend herself, but how to attack, to cause pain, to kill. With a variety of weapons at her disposal, Jaida quickly found herself drawn to the tekko kagi and shuko, both stylized to suit her endeavors of thievery. A passing fancy to find out about her biological parents had her breaking into her old orphanage - where she saw 'Selina Kyle' glaring up at her in black, bold letters. In the streets of Old Gotham - hell, anywhere in Gotham, the name Selina Kyle was synonymous with Catwoman. A fact that had Jaida sinking into an extended bout of depression; until her sensei gave her a very firm wake up. "Let this eat you and you will prove that her decision to give you up was a wise one. Rise above her, and she will be the unworthy one." And so Jaida strove to become a better thief than her mother ever was.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Possibly moving up in her 'ranks' - beginning to make a name for herself.
What are you planning to do with this character?: Having her struggle with trying to be better than Selina - and trying to not lose herself in the process. Making her decide which side of the line she lies on and how far she's willing to go to best Catwoman.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: Right now, she sort of loathes her 'mom'. I'd like to see her unlearn the hate - blend it more into acceptance, but I want her to keep her edge. I could see her and The Fox bumping heads a few times and either becoming territorial enemies, keeping out of each other's way or becoming buddies.

Sample Writing:
Lacing up her shuko, she checked the retractable function on them. Not that she actually worried; she took better care of her equipment than she did herself sometimes. Sensei had instilled that into her very early on - and the habit had stuck. Tonight, she was hitting one of the more well-to-do penthouses. Fat cows could use a bit of a culling, and the sickhouse most of the street kids used was getting low on supplies. Considering they'd taken more than ample care of her when she'd needed it, she felt somewhat obligated to see that they were able to keep up with the demand that was put on them. Hell, if they had doctors and nurses willing to come into Old Gotham and see patients, the least she could do was make sure they had more than Snoopy band-aids to use on those that needed it. Half-mask on, she slipped out of her window, becoming one with the shadows and darkness around her. If anyone looked up, they may possibly catch a glimpse of a misshapen clump of black or the sheen of moonlight on her teeth as she grinned, jumping from one rooftop to the next, but she'd be moving on, not giving the perusing passerby more than a blink to see what they'd likely shake their heads over and forget as quickly as any passing thought. And that was just how Jaida liked it.
