Gregory and Marilyn Brooks couldn't have been any happier when they found out they were going to be the parents, especially when they found out their bundle of joing was going to be a healthy baby girl. On July 4, 1990 at half past 9 o'clock in the morning Gwendolyn Noelle Brooks entered the world kicking and screaming gasping wails into the delivery. The young couple, who were still practically newlyweds, welcomed their precious baby girl with open arms. From day one she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and never once was she the main priority in her parents' lives. Her father, who was the founder/creator of a Playboy-esque magazine treated his baby girl like any father would. She was daddy's little girl and whatever he thought was in her best intrest was done to keep her safe and happy. Her mother, a descendent from a Kennedy-like family, was always home and tried to play the role of the picture perfect housewife.

The whole picture-esque family deal didn't last very long. Six or seven years into her life, Gwen began to notice that her once perfect family was growing more and more apart. Her father spent many nights in his office or at the studio working on next months magazine or planning next weeks photoshoot. This of course changed her mother completely. Instead of being the kind, compassionate women Gwen knew her as, her mother began to drink and grow into a hard person. It was pretty blatant that Gregory picked the magazine and it's booming growth of his own family, which resulted in the divorce between her parent's in 1998. It was messy, and lawyers were constantly visiting one another to go over assets and compensations. When it came down to who Gwen was going to live with, the court decided her mother would be in her best intrest. Gwen wasn't upset with the fact that she was going to be moving out of her childhood home and living with her mother, she was more so enraged with the fact that her father didn't even put up a fight to get custody of her. For being only eight years old, gwen was extremely wise beyond her years. Once the divorce was final and all appearances in court were through, Marilyn and Gwen packed up their belongings and maked into a
house right by a local skiing/snowboarding mountain.

Personality wise, Gwen is the complete opposite as most would assume. She's not snobby, whiney, or a replica of some spoiled little brat. Her overall talkative, bubbly persona is what makes her wellknown and liked amongst her friends and classmates. She's one of the most down to earth, friendiest people you'd ever encounter. If anyone ever needed anything, Gwen would be there in a heartbeat to make sure they're okay and taken care of. Her nurturing abilities cause her to come off motherly from time to time, but she only means it in her best interest and it's also a trait she's captured since her mother was never much a a nurturer herself after the divorce. Gwen is into the whole party scene and will have a social drink here or there but never has she been drunk or acted out in a sloppy manner. She's never touched pot and probably never will, although she has been smoking cigarettes for the past few months. It helps calm her nerves when her mother lashes out at her in one of her nightly drunken binges. The fact that her mother belittles her, puts her down, and is a complete wreck has caused Gwen to suffer with an eating disability that she has yet to let anyone know about. Since she's so use to helping other people with their problems, she's more hesitate to open herself up and let people try to cope with her feelings/emotions. Her father has tried to send her to countless psychiatrists, but Gwen won't show up to any of the sessions and lets her father's prepaid visit go to waste.
