Personal Data: Third of four children. Mother, Constance Barclay, is an archivist at Starfleet Academy. Father, Thomas Barclay, is a landscape architect. One sister and several cousins are in Starfleet.
Notes: Barclay is neither an incompetent scientist nor an insubordinate junior officer, but in her short career since graduating from Starfleet Academy, her transfer has been requested several times. She follows orders but has severe difficulty prioritizing, no sense of initiative, and poor communication skills in most matters not directly related to astrometrics, stellar phenomena, or asteroid mineral compounds. It is to be hoped that a lengthy mission with much charting to do will break her of this. If not, the situation may resolve itself in some other way.
