In-DepthAlthough she is the baby of a very big family, Nona rarely needed to fight for attention, given how much younger than everyone she was, and only one of two girls. What that means, of course, is that she often had a lot of attention on her, from her siblings if not her parents, and she is not fond of when that attention is off her. Thanks to her obnoxious older brothers, however, she has developed methods of getting her own way and bringing the spotlight back to herself. She has a very inquisitive and bright mind, and Nona asks questions about everything. She likes finding creative solutions and approaches to problems, and while she can be very imaginative, she's not very fantastical. She likes her logic and reason, and is very matter-of-fact in that respect. She looks at the world and its inhabitants like a field ripe for experimentation, and that can at times affect her sociability. She understands, for the most part, social cues and nuances and subtleties (she has a strangely matter-of-fact raunchy sense of humour), but she forgets people have things like agency and free will, and do not exist for the purpose of her studying. Nona is filled with a sort of existential, angsting quest for purpose, which is what propelled her into the life path she ultimately chose. Although she deeply enjoys the most aspects of Healing and being able to help others, this voiding purpose is still not filled in her and is the driving force that pushes her to bounce from place to place. She's a bright, spunky individual with a thirst for adventure and the gumption to go out and get it. She's very independent, but finds herself craving a safety net or a social support network from time to time.
HistoryBIRTHPLACE: Bromley, London, England Born last in a litter of nine, Nona was guaranteed to never be boring. Four years younger than her youngest brother, she had enough of an age gap to be certain attention would never leave her, and it helped being one of only two girls. If it wasn't her parents fussing over or looking after her, it was an older sibling. Even so, Nona grew to be fiercely independent as a young girl. She enjoyed rough-housing with her brothers and made no secrets of picking favourites amongst them. She idolised Tertia and her mother, the few but strong female role models she had. A highly spirited child, she was more than eager to begin her journey at Hogwarts when the time came.
	Timeline 1961 APRIL → born a girl, much to her mother's joy and father's loss of five Galleons 1972 SEPTEMBER → eagerly begins first year at Hogwarts! 1980 JUNE → sits N.E.W.T. exams, leaves school, begins Healer training in Ethiopia OCTOBER → training gets a jumpstart when a nundu attacks a poor neighbouring village! 1981 JUNE → begins moonlighting at neighbouring rural hospitals in more impoverished areas out of demand and for expedited training AUGUST → having completed Healer training, as well as learning some of the alternative methods of the village residents, requests to transfer to Indonesia 1982 DECEMBER → seeks a transfer to South America; ends up in Honduras on Christmas day 1983 SPRING → Eventually takes up with one of the younger Healers working in the hospital, moving in together not long after. SUMMER → boyfriend PROPOSES, cue immense freak out; given an injured baby Ocelot by a former young patient of the village hospital; loses some patients and part of the hospital in a rigged cauldron explosion (due to disputes between local Ministry and some wizardy insurgents) SEPTEMBER → washing up on the English shore with her wild bb kitten, a little burned out and directionless
