They arrived outside a shoe shop and Geri dragged her large pink suitcase inside with her as she tried on a pair of Cheap Ugg Boots Sale decorated with stars.
They then headed to a children and baby shop where the singer was snapped looking at fluffy toys.
She did manage to raise a smile for a friend who she met in the shoe store and looked delighted to see her as she gave her a warm hug.
But her sad expression soon slipped back into place and she looked like she was miles away.
Geri arrived in Cannes the day after her 39th birthday which she celebrated in London with some female friends.
Noticeably absent was her boyfriend of three years Henry Beckwith, 32, and the following day, it was revealed that they had gone their separate ways.
