I've always pictured Livia as being much cooler than Octavia, but sort of... a void. She's icy and empty. Almost eerily serene. She puts up with the Uncle's abuse (and it might actually have been sexual with Livia), but stores away the hatred and loathing inside as she teaches herself not to care. Affected the most by their parents' death, but she never became much of a parental figure. One of the many secret plots in the Borgin goldmine was that I often thought she must be in an abusive marriage which Octavia eventually learned about and was in the process of dealing with until she had to disappear. She obviously has many, many issues.

Really had to keep Octavia toeing the line of propriety. Being the only male, and really the only "sensible" one in their guardian's eyes, he has the least villainous feelings toward their uncle, and is even taking over the business. I think he turned a somewhat blind eye towards the general dysfunctional climate of their house growing up, but it is why he tries so hard to make Octavia behave -- because he knew the more she rebelled, the worse it would be for her. But still didn't try to stop it. I think because he sought the approval etc. of their uncle, he was reluctant to intervene. He doesn't see himself as being weak, but Octavia did, which was why their relationship was strained at times. But she believed she could take care of herself, of course.

He is my least formed siblings, and Elsie and he have always had a very nebulous relationship in my head, but I do know that she does not feel as if they are particularly close. He vacillates between being an auror and being something academic, but I can't decide which one (probably the latter, since that is more kid-friendly). He was definitely the favourite of the mother, while Elsie was the favourite of their father's, and that put a significant rift in their adult relationship, particularly around the time of her father's illness/death. I don't see him as being in the UK very often, and they rarely see one another. No one in her family is aware of Elliot's condition, but Leonardo does know they have struggled financially and has helped them out a time or two -- but he likely has a condescending view on it.

Possibly the most villainous sibling I have, he is a professional life ruiner and puppet master. He has everything going for him -- intelligence, good looks, charming personality, but underneath it, he is sort of a sociopath. He is obsessed with his father's approval, and the appearance of Axe in his life pushed him over an edge he was already teetering on. He's an expert manipulator, and 100% self-absorbed. Narcissism definitely runs in this family. He does nothing without half a mind on how he can benefit from it now or in the future. Since his father is sort of an Englishman, he's hellbent on making himself one as far as possible. I don't know. He's just a psycho. Holds a big secret from Axe's glory youth days over his head and ruthlessly blackmails him with that and various other things. Middle bro is his ~~stooge~~ partner in crime.

The beautiful, dumb one. Bastien is 110% obsessed with himself, whiny, spoiled, and generally just a useless person. His selfishness and generally sly being does make him a good tool for his eldest brother to use in his schemes, and he has rare moments of brilliance on his own (really rare). If it were up to him, he wouldn't really trifle with any of his younger siblings (and possibly not even the older one, because he really does only care about himself), but he is not in a position to call the shots. After growing up and moving out, however, he's mostly whatever. More time to focus on himself tbh.

Axe's favourite human being on the planet. Guy got a lot of shit from his oldest siblings for basically being the runt and ultimate black sheep of the family as well as clearly favouring Axe over his legitimate full brothers. Being so obsessed with themselves, this didn't sit very well with them. I think every drop of vanity was squeezed out of him and given to his brothers, because he's one of the most selfless people ever. He has a very strong hero's complex and that need to help others has pushed him into his career as a mediwizard around the world. Axe is very protective over him, and this is one of the few truly positive relationships in his life.

Being a Squib certainly sets Fredrick apart from his sisters -- as does being a boy, as does being the oldest. He is one of the more outgoing of the bunch, and has an extremely adventurous spirit. He enjoys travelling the world, aided by an extremely impulsive nature. Very passionate about education, he is pursuing a doctorate at Oxford with a mind to teaching, himself... one day. Greta painfully idolizes him, and he is one of people who really helped push her out of her shell. She looks up to him, respects him, but will never not feel guilty about the fact that he is a Squib, which can make him uncomfortable at times. Himself, he'll never fully accept being a Squib, but being the master of philosophy he is, has learned to spin his differences into a more positive perspective. Has always been there for his sisters, and will always be.

Stefana was quieter amongst the siblings, which Greta felt she could most relate to when growing up. They share a passion for journalism, as Stefana works for the BBC. Her ease in the Muggle world, as well as being one of the eldest and not a twin, she is closest to Fredrick, and they perhaps understand each other best. Although Stefana loves the Wizarding world, she found her future career lay outside of it, and enjoys her time spent working for the BBC immensely. Having been personally affected by the Wizarding war, it is also somewhat of a refuge/asylum from memories that are too hard to relive.

Well, Sorcha is basically like my most favourite person ever. She basically did whatever she wanted and did not care two hoots about anyone else except that she did. Even though Drystan and she squabbled constantly, they were like twins, and she was a super-combo of mother/sister/best friend/confidant/queen for Penelope. Super gorgeous, super smart, super loyal, and super witty, she was a very dynamic person though not without a plethora of faults. She was a non-fiction author, very interested in Wizarding history (which happened to be how she met her husband). She is wonderfully missed but not really because she pops up in OOC-land all the time.

Edited more when I have a better idea of how who gets what

	And in a twist no one saw coming, intense psychological and physical trauma is NOT inflicted on Adamina! She is a disease/illness-magnet, and I have no doubt that she probably has infected a bunch of people that were exposed to her. Her immune system is shot not only because she had none to begin with prior to the Valesco virus 1, which is why she is presenting symptoms even though some of us have Squib victims being immune. → ?	2

7	Tradition that Archie rolls a 7 and enters into a life-threatening coma when his wife is heavily pregnant? I think so. I DON'T KNOW WHERE HE GETS IT FROM AND OMG I JUST REMEMBERED HE IS AN IMPORTANT PERSON NOW OH NO... He already has a history of sick hallucinations, so that will be quite fun. I enjoy this symptom the most. → Isobel → ?

	LOL Arista is just like fml. Pretty fitting cap to her shit season. She's not too badly off, but she cannot stand being sick ever in her life. Judgment from her mother, flashbacks to her time in St Mungo's, just a lot of no bueno stuff. She was super looking forward to coming home and re-decorating her place and just not thinking about Quidditch and its complications for a few solid months. → ?	3

5	So it looks like it's plausible Derek got this via work, and he is not a happy camper. He's not going to St Mungo's, but he is nastily ill, and I don't think that happens to him pretty much ever. At least, he's never under the weather not due to his own makings, so he just doesn't know what to do. Definitely hallucinating about Dorcas and basically all the things about the war and I will probably fuck him up greatly with this because I am a good person. → ?

	Drystan is NOT getting sick, because he shall be strong like an ox, but considering Odette, Penelope, Bess, Adam, and Veronica are all basically semi- to life-threateningly- sick, he's got his hands full and might as WELL be sick. Tearing his hair out over Penelope, probably wants to drop-kick Charlie, and then his family stars dropping like flies, and his sanity is basically on its very last fraying thread D: → ?	0

I do think she takes any deviation-from-the-norm scenario from a scientific/observational perspective, which includes getting sick, but she has no desire to suffer for her science. Nicodemo hated Mondays. He also had a particular loathing for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and most Sundays, but Mondays were the absolute worst. He tugged at the neck of his robes absently as he added the date to the case report he was finishing. Skimmg it over, he found it free of obvious and immediate spelling and grammatical errors, and was fairly certain all the facts were correct. This was not to say he overly cared if they weren't. Trailing his hand to the signature line at the bottom, he began his name with a flourish just when the nib snapped.

Staring at it blankly for a moment, he threw the quill down in disgust and rested his forehead in his palm. Or smacked it with one. Third time it had happened this week, he reflected. Ought not to press so hard. He glanced wistfully at one of the few personal items that littered his desktop, a charming oriental statute of a monkey clashing cymbals in his hands. Larkin had given it to him quite tongue-in-cheekly, and today more than ever, he felt an unsettling kinship with the trinket.

"Erm… so, Nick!"

He stifled a groan. It was ten o'clock, it was far too early to deal with the likes of P. J. Blodkin, his immediate superior. Nicodemo regarded him with a stony glare, hoping to put the rather effeminate, plump wizard off his mission before he even began.

It was clearly failing to work, as the man smoothed his hands down the sides of his mandarin-coloured robe before clearing his throat and saying, "Erm… yeah, I'm going to need you to do that report on the Knight Bus incident over."

Nicodemo blinked. "Again?" he asked incredulously.

"Erm… yeah… again."

"But it's all correct," Nico said slowly, as if speaking to a dumb child. "I triple-checked it this time."

Blodkin scratched behind his ear and averted his gaze. "Erm, yeah… it's not really, because… well, they introduced a new form for filing 5A through F, so… you're going to need to do it again."

"I don't have time," said Nicodemo in a measured tone, gripping the edge of his desk so tightly that his knuckles were turning white. "I have five other case reports to file before Wednesday alone." Not to mention he'd had to cancel a date last week, because of this ridiculous incident and the tizzy it had the Ministry in.

His response was a shrug and the further aversion of eye contact. "I just… yeah, no, I'm going to need you to do it again."

Knowing how lengthy the process of filling out these reports tended to be, that meant he'd miss seeing Drake play this weekend, and he'd finally blocked out a weekend free of work to see his friend. Leaning forward, Nicodemo said in a low voice, "Twice before this, you've told me to redo that report because you neglected to give me information that needed to be included." He was going to have no friends by the end of the year. Nico couldn't even remember the last time he'd managed a social event outside of his flat.

Bristling a little at this insubordination, Blodkin put his hands up defensively and began, "Erm, I can't help that I'm so busy—"

"BUSY?" Nicodemo thundered, slapping his hands down on the desk. " BUSY? I DO ALL YOUR WORK FOR YOU!"

"Erm…!" he blustered, flapping his hands a little, "I think—"

"AN UNTRAINED MONKEY CAN DO MORE THAN YOU DO!" he shouted, surging to his feet and jabbing his finger in Blodkin's face.

"Mister Penrose, that is quite en—"

Bellowing, "SHALL WE PROVE IT?", Nicodemo flicked his wand at Blodkin and a bewildered monkey sat before him an instant later, cocking its head and chattering furiously.

"HOW ABOUT SOME CYMBALS?" he roared, overturning his In-going crate of rolled parchments and throwing it up in the air to transfigure. "Do you think you'd know what to do with those?"

Not even bothering to scale the damn thing, Nicodemo lashed out his foot and kicked the desk over, sending a cascade of papers and quills and inkwells tumbling over to the floor, and his supervising monkey scampering away with a shriek. Following after him, Nico all the while flicked great big shelves over, summoned doors off their hinges, turned a chair into a bear, charming fanfare out of thin air.

"Field trip for everybody, it's the CIRCUS!" he called, conjuring a blast of confetti which showered his alarmed, shell-shocked colleagues. "You!" Nicodemo pointed to one of the fatter wizards who routinely stole credit for his work. "How about a ringmaster!" Poof! He then aimed his wand at a chair, yelling, "Can't have one of those without a lion to tame!" Crack!

Put on a show he did, transfiguring a desk into a cannon (with its occupant now prepared to launch), a shelf into an elephant, and one very surprised witch into a tight-rope walker. By now, the monkey previously known as P. J. Blodkin was turning around in circles and screeching, banging on cymbal repeatedly against the ground.

Stalking toward the doors, he said, "Oh, and by the way," turning to face the pandemonium he and his wand had just caused. The monkey froze and scratched his head, looking at him in a general state of confusion. Nicodemo ripped off his Ministry badge and again marched forward, chucking the badge behind him as hard as he could.

"I QUIT!"
