Abilities: Martial Arts- Donnie is a natural acrobat and martial artist, trained by his father and mother, as well as his Uncle Roy and Aunt Donna. He has mastered Jujitsu, and has facility in judo and boxing as well. He has also been trained in parkour.
Marksmanship- Trained by his Uncle Roy, Donnie is a crack shot, capable of precisely aiming projectiles. Languages- Donnie can speak several languages: Russian, Chinese, Spanish and Romany. His Japanese is passable, but not great. Detective Skills: Donnie has learned criminology from his mother and father, as well as his grandfather, Jim Gordon, placing him at about Dick Grayson’s level of ability during the peak of his career as Nightwing. Before arriving in this dimension, Donnie had just graduated police academy and become a beat cop in Bludhaven.

Backstory: Donald Roy Grayson was born in an alternate universe to Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon- Grayson, the dynamic duo of Batman and Batwoman. Donald, or Donnie, is named for his father's two best friends. Dad would have named him Donald Garth Wallace Roy Bruce Timothy Grayson if he could have gotten away with it, but Mom forced him down to two names. Later on, Dad would make Mom promise that, if they had a girl, she could only pick two names as well.
When Donnie was five, Batman and Robin gave their lives to save Gotham from the Joker's rampage. The Joker also died in the attempt, leaving a hole in the protection of the Gotham. At first, Dick patrolled Gotham as Nightwing, but in time he ended up donning the mantle of the Bat and moving his family from Bludhaven. Donnie grew up at the knee of the world's foremost team, the Titans, learning the values of honor and heroism. Donnie always intended to go to police academy, however, following the footsteps of his grandfather, Jim Gordon. Rather than stay in Gotham and be viewed as "Jim Gordon's grandson" or "Dick Grayson's boy", Donnie moved back to Bludhaven and went out for the academy there. At his graduation, Grandpa Jim was the man to hand him his badge. He jumped into his new job full bore, ready to do as much good as he possibly could to clean up Bludhaven.
Dick and Barbara worked as Batman and Batwoman until their untimely passing as well. Donnie was heartbroken over the loss of his parents and spent the next year doing his best keep Bludhaven under control, but he was spread thin. During a battle with Dr. Nexus, Donnie found himself pushed through a rip in reality, bringing him to our world.
