Abilities:
Empathy: Luna is a powerful empath. She can sense, remove, and alter emotions at will.
Aura Vision: Luna can 'see' the feelings of others.
Combat Training: While nowhere NEAR the same skill level as the Rogers brothers or Steve Barton, or even Akilah, Luna is moderately skilled in hand to hand combat to where she can hold her own against an opponent that is reasonably skilled.
Weaknesses and flaws: Luna has to work very hard to keep her powers in check. To much of an emotional overload can throw her out of sync, causing her powers to rule her, rather than the other way around. Therefore, Luna has to be extremely careful when working her powers on very large crowds, as too much of the same emotion, or an abundance of different emotions at once cause her to go into overdrive, and she gets fatigued easily. While she has a very good amount of control over her powers, and is now able to 'turn off' her aura vision if she so chooses, Luna has a tendency to distance herself from people, and often comes off as being antisocial.
Character location/Home: Returning to New York City, from traveling abroad in Europe with her friend, Aine Gold.

Backstory:
Born to a mutant and an Inhuman, the first hybrid of the two races, the two genes 'canceled' each other out, and Luna was born as a standard, baseline human. Pietro, aghast at having a flatscan, human daughter, initially sought to expose the newborn to the Terrigen Mists,in hopes that she would gain the mutant gene. He was talked out of this by Gorgon and Karnak, who impersonated Lockjaw to get their point across.
Luna had a fairly happy childhood on the moon, raised by both of her parents. At the age of nine, during a conflict with Maximus the Mad on the moon, Luna was tossed into the Terrigin Mists. Her exposure to the mists caused her to see the feelings of people in 'colors'. After her first exposure, Luna developed an addiction to the mists, and continued to expose herself to the mists, causing her powers to develop to that of a full empaths. Realizing her growing addiction to the mists, the Inhumans began to treat Luna for it. At this time, she also began to wear shades at all times, not being able to cope with 'seeing' the emotions of other people at all time.
To help her control and deal with her powers, which were growing out of her control, Pietro arranged for Luna to be sent to Xaiver's. Luna shied away from contact with the other students at first, feeling uncomfortable about constantly knowing the emotions of everyone around her. With expert help, Luna was taught how to control and manage her powers, and came out of her shell a little, bonding with some of the other students.
At the urging of her father and several others, Luna enrolled in Empire State University, where she decided to major in art history. Though she tried to get a single room (as even though she had a solid level of mastery over her powers), Luna was stuck with a roommate, Aine Gold. The two girls clashed at first, mostly due to their different personalities, but after a Welcome Freshmen party (which Luna did not really want to go to), where Luna's powers got out of control, Aine saw that something was wrong, and Luna out of the room and away from the party before she could spiral out of control. Feeling like she could trust Aine, Luna then told Aine about her powers. The two girls then became good friends, and had each others' backs for the remainder of their college days.
Luna occasionally assisted the Avengers in the field from time to time when she was in college.
After they graduated from college, Luna and Aine decided to take a tour of Europe, using money that the two girls had set aside. Hearing through the grapevine that the Avengers were short a couple of members, Luna decided to go back to help them, taking Aine with her.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Coming back to the states from Europe with Aine to help the Avengers.
What are you planning to do with this character?: Aid the Avengers during 12-Step, then after wards, form a Marvel Divas style team with Aine.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I'd like to see her step out of her shell a little, and not be as reserved around people as she normally is. While she is pretty comfortable with her powers, I'd like for her to maybe to overcome the fear that they will take her over altogether.
