Iden is doing very well for himself at the tattoo parlor. He's now accidentally out to everyone at the parlor and the neighboring salon. As these two establishments cater to most of the alternative British witches and wizards, it is safe to say that the freaks of magical Britain know and don't care about his orientation... well there is a Chudley Cannons player that calls him a pixie but that's just a joke.
Things go well with Michael. They see each other often, and now that they both have their own flats, Iden sometimes feels like he has two homes. He is still hard at work on the library catalogue tattoo and plans on going to San Francisco in a few weeks to meet a man that might have the last piece of the puzzle needed to beg in the tattoo. Though Iden is still unconvinced that Michael will want the tattoo, he's enjoying trying to figure out how to do it.
Inky is just Inky and loves Michael almost as much as Iden does.
Iden's mother was a little taken aback when she actually met Michael but was very pleased that he was not covered in tattoos or piercings and that he had a real job. She loves Iden and accepts his job but Michael's desk job is much more respectable. Also, Michael seems sweet, so Iden's mother is pleased overall. Iden's brother is creeped out by it, but they were never terribly close so no big loss.
