Codename: Mnemosyne (not really her idea, but her grandmother finds it amusing)

Abilities: Veronica Paravich is long-lived, stronger, and more durable than most humans are, and is immune to disease, as she is the daughter of a goddess. She is also the keeper of the lore and history of many races and locations, due to her ability to touch an object, place, or person and trace the history of that object, place or person as far back as she wishes to go. She may also restore memories to one who has lost them or remove them, as memory is the history of a being.

She also possesses an eidetic memory and can hold her own in a fight against a pair of opponents.

She also carries an item called the Staff of Mnemosyne, which she is still learning to use.

Weaknesses and flaws: Veronica’s psychometric ability requires concentration and she can often become lost for hours or days at a time “tracing the roads back”, as she calls it. Veronica has never met her mother and her father refuses to tell her anything about her, saying that she will know what she needs to know in time.

Veronica is also addicted to coffee and does not enjoy sleep.

Backstory: Veronica Paravich is the daughter of Eliosha Paravich and Clio, the Muse of History. Eli made an offhand comment to the disguised Muse during a chance meeting and the two embarked on a series of adventures together. At some point in their journey, they shared a bed, and Clio vanished. One year later, she returned to him with a little girl. Eli and Clio made a pact that Veronica would remain in her father’s care, but would not see her mother until her gift manifested. Eli asked for further information, but Clio would offer nothing more.

Druig of Nightmares exiled Eli from Polaria for birthing a child with someone other than an Eternal, and has forbidden Veronica to ever set foot in their homeland. Eli sought to leave a legacy for his daughter that might endure. He stated the fashion house known as EVP Creations with a great deal of help from his good friend Vernique Denning and proceeded to secure his daughter’s future. Veronica loves reading, drawing, books…and part-time modeling. The free clothing and accessories are nice, but the real pull is the money, which is used to buy pieces of artwork from different periods.

Eventually, she wants to obtain as many pieces of Eternal and Greek artwork to paint a picture of her parents’ peoples to learn exactly where she comes from.

Her abilities manifested two years ago, and she is still learning to deal with them, trying not to get lost in the past while the present is in motion.

Her burgeoning modeling career is a source of contention between the two, and Eli hopes Veronica will grow out of it.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Veronica is returning to the Avengers after her yearly adventure with her father.

What are you planning to do with this character? Veronica can be an object of Kang’s attention due to her ability, which might bring her friends closer to her.

What do you want to see happen with this character?: Contribute to the Avengers, kick ass, and get to know her teammates better.
