Demon magic (this is a non-specific range of skills she inherited from her mother, a lot involves hexing (which may also be related to a mage ability of jinx magic; she can't be sure). Her demon skills can be tweaked to appear as if they're mage abilities, though she tries not to use them where others can see them.
Appearance: Dark skin, eyes and hair. Her hair usually is a little fly away if she doesn't slick it back into a controlled ponytail. She wears a lot of jewelry, usually gifts from her mother and aunties (all demons and half demons from other dimensions). Her clothing ranges from classy and styled to on the verge of ghetto. Sometimes her outfits cross wires and she ends up with a classy ghetto look.

Personality: She's confident if not a bit headstrong. She's got a sharp, witty tongue that comes out strongly around certain personalities. She's extremely loyal to family, especially her mother, father, and half-brother, Drew.
Strengths: Confident, opinionated, strong.
Weaknesses: Opinionated, harshly honest.
Quirks: Can play any instrument that she picks up within a few moments of tinkering. Loves the act of writing and reading, as well as the process of learning. Has a sick talent for subtle hexes.
Secrets: Reed's her dad. She knows it, but she keeps it a secret. The other secret is that her mother is the demon Penum'e.

Biography: First born child of Reed Graves and the demon Penum'e. Reed had summoned Penum'e hoping that she would grant him luck, however Penum'e was not the right demon. She saw a glimpse of the future, a chance for a child which she had always wanted and she seduced Reed to gain that end. Once Reagan was born Penum'e decided to stay in Aylasia to raise her daughter, knowing that Reed could not claim her as his own (for her own protection).

Reagan had an atypical childhood with her mother. She learned to control her demon abilities before her mage abilities, if only because her mother had little to no knowledge of mage skills. They frequently traveled back and forth in between dimensions to visit Reagan's extended family. She has a good relationship with her younger half-brother Drew. When Drew's mom died Pen helped raise him.

She graduated Salem Academy in 2009. She traveled to Meridian with her father (after he finally announced that he had kids and introduced them to the public). She decided that she wanted to become an ambassador to the continent even with the personal risk.

She's learned a lot about Meridian in the meantime and has ideas on how to help the unsettled land become less wild.

Magical abilities: All elements, abjuration, wand magic.
Appearance: His hair is constantly on the fly away, as if he were constantly conjuring wind to make it so wild. He looks so much like his father that it's ridiculous. His dress is usually casual, t-shirts, button down shirts unbuttoned over them, jeans or khaki pants.

Personality: Made to make mischief. Absolute prankster. Sweet and funny. Extreme temper issues, though not easily triggered.
Strengths: Cleverness, resourcefulness, good sense of humor.
Weaknesses: Sometimes easily distracted, dreadful temper when flared, mild cruelty to some of his pranks.
Quirks: When he's distracted some of his elements get away from him. In particular he's woken up from several daydreams in a small forest of plants and vines. One such day he awoke in a puddle up to his ankles. It's a good thing for Drake that he doesn't daydream more than once a month.
Secrets: Drake has been bitten twice, by two different vampires (who he then set on fire and killed); this secret was bound by Nate Chance.

Biography: First born and only son to Puck and Hedwig. He had a pretty happy childhood, though he was frequently causing his father panic attacks at his troublesome behaviors.

He lives in the dorms at Salem Academy, even though he could live at home. He feels it gives him freedom, and it gives his father a break from the constant state of worry Drake puts him in. It's also a lot easier to sneak out of the dorms and run off to get into mischief.

Magical abilities: Iron, Water. Fortuna. Verdad ocultada. Spells. Empath (she can feel what others are feeling, though she has enough control that she can block it out when she chooses; this is a secret only known by the immediate family and close friends).
Appearance: She's very good looking for her age and she takes great care that it will stay so. She wears her dark hair loose when she is not dealing with kingly duties. She pulls it back when she means business.

Personality: Strong, opinionated, level-headed. Fun, funny, sweet. Bossy, though dutiful. She will do what her parents tell her to do, but she turns around and bosses her younger siblings. Diplomatic where necessary.
Strengths: She is level in most situations when others would blow a fuse.
Weaknesses: She can be a bit vain at times.
Quirks: She hums to herself a lot.
Secrets: She is protecting the whereabouts of her brother Emeric. She is protecting someone with her verdad ocultada ability, but it is a mystery who that is.

Biography: First born to Camden and Katrana Graves. She grew up at the Palace. She is very accustomed to palace life and all that it affords her. Being the first born she was lavished upon with affection and attention. She has a particularly close bond with her father, though she is also quite close with her mother.

She went to school at Salem Academy for the full twenty years, studying fortuna magic to the fullest extent. She also studied her birth elements and took an interest in spell magic during her Upper School years.

She graduated school and lived on her own for a time, traveling where she could as an ambassador of the palace. She learned a good deal in those years, particularly how it is difficult to please everyone in the kingdom. She was at first surprised to find people that disagreed with her parents' decisions as rulers, but she quickly learned that many people are capable of many opinions and more than one can be right. She developed a sense of diplomacy and learned how to negotiate, delegate, and compromise.

She was involved in a romantic relationship with Séreméla Arnatuilë, an elf who was over 300 years her senior, but Sera flaked out on her after the death of her son Maeglin.

Upon the disappearance of her parents Ginevra stepped in to become the interim King. She likes the job so far and though she would like to keep it she would far rather have her parent's back. She intends to step down from the kingship on October 1st.

Gin has been suffering from pretty serious depression because of her empathic abilities, which Enki has been trying to teach her to control.

Magical abilities: Iron, Water, Weaving, Fortuna (which manifests when she's sleeping in place of dreams, unlike her mother her visions involve other people and sometimes important things)
Appearance: She wears her long, black hair a variety of ways, sometimes pulling it up in pretty clips, sometimes letting it flow long. She refuses to cut it, since it would be relatively futile. She inherited parts of her mother's fashion sense with a flair for the dramatic. She loves jewelry and has boxes upon boxes of various baubles. There's always one necklace that she wears everyday, a gift from her mothers when she graduated school.

Personality: Extremely kind and giving. She's one of those genuinely nice girls that you can't bring yourself to hate (though Lily tries). She's often quiet, though she's extroverted enough to introduce herself to strangers. She'll drop everything to help someone.
Strengths: Loyalty. Kindness. Generosity. Genuine concern for others.
Weaknesses: She has a serious weak spot for fashion and small animals. She is incredibly naive about the more brutal nature of people.
Quirks: None as yet.
Secrets: None that I've figured out.

Biography: Only child of Garage Wells and Ohana Hitomi. Chloe was raised by them, as well as Ohana's long standing love, and wife Cressida Wolff. She had a wonderfully happy childhood with three parents to love her and help her grow.

She attended Salem Academy and studied her elements and Fortuna. As her mother would always say: Weaving is best learned from another weaver. It was a hearth taught subject, something that would probably never be taught in a school setting just because of how unique the process was to each weaver.

After graduating early (having grasped all the skills she could for her particular magic) she began to wander, much like her mother and her father did in their respective youths. There was a restless spirit about Chloe Wells, something ingrained before her birth.

She is still traveling and bunking with the friends she makes on her way. She does have a nice, little house in Salem that she keeps when she feels the need to be grounded (and housing her impressive wardrobe, another trait she inherited from her mother).

She has begun dating Pantaleon Vitali.

Personality: Risk taker. Into gambling, sex, and danger. He's a careful, focused lover (regardless of whether or not he's getting paid).
Strengths: He's strangely sensitive.
Weaknesses: Can die by the sun, which he used to adore.
Quirks: Doyle really loves sunshine (which is a problem). He's illusioned the windows in his room so that it appears like sun is streaming in during the daytime.
Secrets: His vampire sire was also his lover at the time, but after a quarrel they parted. Doyle heard through the grapevine that he had died. He never told his brother (or anyone else) that they were lovers.

Biography: Brother to Damian Aeron.

Doyle had a woefully uneventful childhood. He went to Salem Academy, graduated with a good grasp on his magical skills. His young adult years were spent traveling, though he was always happy to return home.

He had a predilection for gambling and sex and spent a lot of his time and money on Silk Road. Eventually he decided he liked it so much he'd just rather work there and turned his hobbies into a profession.

At some point in his life (his memory gets a little foggy as to when exactly) he was turned into a vampire (as was his brother). His sire has passed out of existence, which is just fine by him (considering the sire left him for another shortly after making him). He hasn't celebrated a birthday since being turned and he doesn't mark the passage of time anymore. He simply works and enjoys the fruits of his labor.

He met Reed Graves at a card table one night and the two became fast friends. They had a lot in common (their common love of gambling, sex, and dangerous things). Reed later offered Doyle a job and a home at his brothel Dirty Vegas before it was even properly established and Doyle has worked there ever since.

He's begun an awkward and violently sexual relationship with Lily and plans to turn her.

Appearance: She has blue coloring on certain areas of her skin, as well as blue streaks in her otherwise brown hair. There is delicate webbing between her fingers and toes. Her eyes are a peculiar shade of robin's egg blue. She can make herself to look human and loses all of the blue coloring, even her eyes take on a more human, subtle color; her illusion skills help in this area.

Personality: Curious beyond belief. Vastly interested in things outside of the water, very knowledgeable about things in the water. She's very smart, but naive in the same breath. She is kind to plants and animals.
Strengths: She can walk on land and alter her appearance so that she appears human. She's very bright.
Weaknesses: If she's out of water for more than a day she can become very weak (a nice, lingering bath can usually fix this). She's relatively naive.
Quirks: She sings to plants to help them grow.
Secrets: None as yet.

Biography: Born in Lake Cadogan by her Merrow mother Caprina. Her mother will not tell her of her origin, but Tullulah is convinced that her father must be human and somewhere in Aylasia. One of the problems of discovering that is that Tullulah has no idea how old she is. Merrow don't celebrate their birthdays and it is difficult to mark the passage of time under water.

She had a relatively normal childhood for a Merrow otherwise. She had seven brothers and sisters, all with varying ridiculous names (born in this order: Maddox, Peach, Heston, Tallulah, Rhona, Brown, Mimi, and Arlo). With them she learned how to live in the lake and the river, how to swim and play away the day, how to control her magic, shift her form, walk on land.

Once she felt the pull to really use her land abilities she immediately left the lake for land; the Merrow female rite of passage into adulthood, to seek a human mate on land has become strong. Because of it Tullulah said goodbye to her mother and siblings and has shifted her form to walk on land.

She began a relationship with Drew and inadvertently became pregnant. She decided to raise her children on land with Drew and moved into the Palace with him. She gave birth to twin daughters Tansy and Clover.

Magical abilities: Iron, Daemon, Jinx, Faerie
Appearance: Likes to wear preppy clothes with dress down items, like button down shirts and ties with hooded sweatshirts and sneakers. He bears the typical scars of anyone with the iron element, though perhaps more than usual. He has one on his right calve, a smattering on his left bicep, a round scar on his upper left thigh, another on his left hip, and a very small scar on his neck, just below his right ear. He is frequently covered in bruises as he's always getting himself into dangerous situations.

Personality: He's alternately serious and goofy. Chaotic and off-the-wall. His loyalty is hard earned. He is very casual with most people and doesn't have deeper relationships with most. Risk taking. Clumsy. Brave to a fault.
Strengths: His unpredictability is a strength and a weakness, as is his bravery. He knows martial arts (not so ironically he's a master of the Drunken Fist).
Weaknesses: Seems to scar easily. Makes bad decisions. A bit of a philanderer with the ladies (and by a bit I mean a lot).
Quirks: Reed sleepwalks and talks, which accounts for some of his frequent bruises.
Secrets: Reed asserts that he has enough secrets to fill a warehouse in Homestead (I'm willing to bet at least two of those secrets are bastard children).

Biography: The second born child of Kat and Cam, the first born boy. Reed was always a challenging child, difficult to make mind and understand the consequence that follows risk.

He went to school at Salem Academy and was almost constantly in trouble for one thing or the other. When he graduated he decided he wanted to do his own thing and be his own person.

While attending school (and long after) he trained at several martial arts dojos (he learned what he could from each master before moving on and finding another). He's a master at Zui Quan (or Drunken Fist). He loves Capoeira, but doesn't have much use for it when he gets into real fights. He studied Ninjutsu, but has accepted that he has no skill for stealth whatsoever.

Reed moved to New Meridian and tried several lines of work (from a temporary stint as a leo from which he was discharged to a metal smith at a jewelers, which he still does in his spare time). Reed settled into another lifestyle which suits his dangerous needs. He runs a brothel on Silk Road (Dirty Vegas). He's very good to his patrons and his employees and ensures them the utmost safety at all times. Occasionally he's something of a rogue bounty hunter; typically he takes on hard marks that most others won't touch.

Reed has two children, Reagan and Drew. This is a big-huge secret. He has an excellent relationship with both of his children who understand why he keeps their lineage a secret. He has another child that he doesn't know about.

Reed's best confidante is his grandfather Hamlin whom he shares all of his secrets with.

He was involved in a casual relationship with Sophia van der Woodsen, which often gets him trouble. She seems to want more than just the casual bond they share. In truth she was the first woman who held his attention long enough to maintain a casual relationship with (that's like a long-term commitment to Reed). He had a hate-sex relationship with Lily. He really can't stand her, but the sex was good enough that he never said no when she dropped by for a romp.

He has since fallen in love with Marlowe, the ex-girlfriend of one of his brothers. They're relationship has had a lot of ups and downs, but Reed stuck with it and won Marlowe over.

What you won't know about Reed is that he's part fae, so much so that he has faerie form and has an allergy to iron (which explains all the scars he has from using his iron element abilities). His grandfather, Hamlin knows this along with his sister Ginevra. At the age of seven, Reed was embarrassed about being part fae after shifting forms at a family dinner. Mortified, Reed cast a memory modification spell (complicated magic for someone so young, but Reed was a clever and crafty child who wasn't afraid of such dangerous magic). To this day no one else knows that he's fae. Although faeries can sense those with fae traits, when they meet Reed they can only sense that there is something off about him, something peculiar though they cannot figure out what it is. This is because of another spell he cast to hide his nature from detection. He asked that his sister and grandfather help him work the ritual magic to make his fae nature a spellbound secret. They helped, though they were both deeply reluctant.
