POLITICAL VIEWS: Not really. Jack kind of just goes with the flow. It's much less work that way.

Appearance
APPEARANCE: He's short for his age, only standing at around 5'7 (and a half, he insists!) and average weight for his height. He's very awkward, having a lot of strange mannerisms and often making odd gestures that he doesn't know are odd. He gives off a blatantly flaming homosexual vibe in his posture, though he's about as closeted as you can get.

His style of dress is casual, jeans and tshirts, mostly, though he can be occasionally convinced to dress up and he actually looks pretty sharp if, you know, someone else picks out his clothes.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Jack is... a character. He's nerdy and naive and he lives in a world of fantasy. His favorite pasttimes involve watching soap operas (and porn!) and playing video games and he pretty much believes everything he sees and hears when it comes to watching/reading science fiction.

Though most people would never guess it, he has loads of ambition. His father is a very successful businessman and he's determined to be one himself, someday. He just has a bit of trouble with the whole follow through of finding a job (though he will eventually probably just go work for daddy) and doing what he needs to do to become successful.

Jack is fiercely loyal when it comes to the people he cares about. He'll do anything for his friends and you'd be surprised by how fiercely he'll defend them when the need arises. He doesn't care much about other people as a whole and his sense of morality is pretty fluid, adapting to the people he is around at the time, but when it comes to actual, genuine friends? He'd do anything they asked of him.

History
CHILDHOOD: Jack was always a little bit of an odd child. He didn't have any brothers or sisters, so he made up a crew of imaginary friends to keep him company, employing a vivid imagination that has not diminished at all, even though he is now an adult.

He's the son of a pureblood, so it wasn't any surprise that he turned out to be magical, though it was a surprise that he was accepted into Eligere. He doesn't seem like the outwardly ambitious type, because he's so ridiculous that people often have trouble taking him seriously, but he has a lot of hidden drive and he's determined to make something of himself, even if he doesn't exactly know what or how he is going to get there.

Jack broke more than his fair share of bones during his childhood. He's not very coordinated at all and he has a real knack for getting himself into situations that can lead to getting hurt. He's never been the most graceful and his rare attempts at sports have generally seen his paying a visit to the hospital wing. Luckily, he's far too lazy to actually try very often.

AT ELIGERE. Attending Eligere wasn't exactly Jack's idea. He was comforted by the fact that his best friend Jeremy would be coming along, but a prestigious magical academy that expected hard work? An arranged marriage program where he'll be forced forced to marry a girl he doesn't love? He absolutely hates it.

Jack has barely managed passing grades in the past few years at Eligere and he's spent the requisite amount of time with his betrothed, but he certainly doesn't feel much of anything for the girl. He knows he'll be expected to marry her once their educations have come to an end, but it's not something he is remotely looking forward to.

BLURB: Jack isn't exactly your stereotypical Eligere guy, but his father insisted and so here he is, engaged to a girl he doesn't love, muddling through his classes and doing his best not to get himself kicked out. He's used to disappointing his old man, but a part of him is hoping that just this once he'll manage to make him proud, even if it means embracing a future that's likely to make him miserable.
