I finally got to tell my parents. They were...well, they had questions, but I answered them assertively and made it clear that we weren't going to change our minds.

By the way, I hope you know I'll hunt you down and murder you if you change your mind. I say that with all the love in my heart, of course.

Now I just need to work on telling Sam. Carys is going to have to wait until after the World Cup - she has too much to think about right now.

Say, you wouldn't want to join me when I tell your favorite ex-but-soon-to-be-brother-in-law-again that you asked me to marry you and I said yes, would you? If anything I can reflect light off the ring into his eyes so he's temporarily blinded and we can make a run for it after telling him the news. Flawless plan, am I right?

So, it's official.

In 2 weeks, you will all be hearing the melodious sound of my voice as it is carried through the air waves, broadcast through the Wizarding Wireless Network.

Witch Weekly, it was nice while it lasted. I will forever cherish the pointless articles I wrote about tawdry romances that didn't actually exist, foods that may or may not be good for your hair, and so many other mind numbing subjects. I won't say I didn't learn anything while I was there, because that's not entirely true, but I'm moving on to bigger and better things.

I think this calls for a celebration.

So I may have run into Seth today. And he may have invited me to go to the park tomorrow afternoon with him and his daughter, Leanne.

I have accepted the offer, but only to see Leanne.

I just figured I'd tell you so you didn't think I was hiding anything from you or something. It'd be a mess if me and Seth get caught in public by the wrong person and all of a sudden there's some ridiculous story in the paper about how we're 'reuniting' or 'getting back together' or something equally outrageous.

Sometimes I hate being a member of the press, because then I don't get to talk about how much I hate the press.

Have you ever had one of those moments - those moments when you think 'my day can not get any worse', and then immediately they do?

Today, I had one of those moments.

I woke up late, my hot water wasn't working in my shower, my coffee got spilled all over my new blouse, and then right when I thought that was going to be the end of it...I hit my head on the corner of a bookshelf.

Now I look like a unicorn, and not in the cute, whimsical way.

Such is my life. The only luck I seem to have is the bad kind.

I need a drink. And sleep. A lot of both, in that order.
