Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: terrykun (LJ)
Email: tj_mccarron@yahoo.com
AIM: GoggleBoy83
Character Name: Annivila Restituos "Anni" Wisdom
Character LJ (if applicable): just_wing_it
Physical description (face, build, weight): Primarily arms and legs attached to a more athletic than seductive figure, along with angular glasswing butterfly wings. 5'2"
Age: 21 or 108, depending on how you view the time shift between Earth and parts of Otherworld.
Birthday: September 5, 1990
PB: Jen Ledger

Abilities: Anni's "talent" is to sense flaws in, and repair, objects. No-one is quite certain if this is a fairy trait or a mutant one, and she has yet to consider submitting to any testing to have it discerned. She can intuitively detect flaws in objects, and then repair them, by infusing a portion of her spirit-self into them and reshaping or fusing them or whatever the task requires. Her analysis and repair talent requires physical contact, all the original mass of a given object (she could repair cracked glass, but not a hole in it), and she cannot manipulate more than her own body mass, which is even less than her size would suggest.
To repair mechanisms, the object must have been used at some point. She cannot correct an object that was flawed at the point of manufacture, as it lacks a necessary 'imprint' left by a former user to indicate what is correct.
Infusing more of herself into an object can animate it, but this only works on hand-made objects. Mass-produced items do not carry their creators' 'spark', as she describes it.

Her mixed blood means she is less adept at Fey magic, but is not harmed by iron and other metals. She finds them significantly uncomfortable however. Prolonged exposure can make her sick.

She has a small retinue of spells she is familiar with, including invisibility (requiring a verbal or somatic trigger), generation of Fairy Dust from her wings (induces a mild euphoric effect, and requires her wings to be freely spread), and comprehending languages after hearing only a few exchanges in one.

She has above average human physical attributes without exercising, and can consume food in larger quantities than her form would physically allow. She can also consume that which a human would normally not, such as bones, seeds, and fruit cores.

Character location/Home: TBD
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero
Relatives (living/dead?): Peter Wisdom (Father), Tinkabelinos Hardleg (Mother), Oberon (Maternal Grandfather)

Backstory: Born, technically, within wedlock between Pete Wisdom of MI:13 and their fairy dissident contact, Tink, Annivila was the product of the consummation of a mutual protection alliance between The British Isles and Avalon. As such, she is now the living seal of the pact, and her death could lead to its dissolution. She was raised between Earth and Avalon, aging quickly by human perceptions. After her magic lessons in "mum-world" reached a stand-still, she went to live with her father, learning about the operations of MI:13 and the human world in general. She took to it like ants to honey, delighting in how vividly all the humans seemed to live, always in a hurry, thinking everything is so important. She also came to particularly appreciate human art and its history.

However, she was not permitted to travel alone. Wary of the dangers of the mortal world, and particularly of old fears of mortal emotions tainting the fey, Oberon plucked a young wind sprite of petty nobility, Zephyr, to serve as his favored granddaughter's guardian. Anni took this in stride, enjoying the perks of a having a footman (British sensibilities, after all, however eroded), but always preferring that he stay because he chooses to, rather than because he has to. In many ways, Anni is closer to "Zip" than to her family, and treats him as her closest confidante. She is aware that as the living pact, her continued well-being is of value to more than just herself, but tries not to let it weigh upon her day to day decisions. She'll leave that to Zip.

It's Dangerous To Go Alone, Take This (test scene)

"Annivila... Annivila Restituos, are you heeding my words?" Oberon, father of all High Fairies, King of the Fey, and Lord of the kingdom of Fairyland on the island of Avalon, in Otherworld, called for his granddaughter's renewed attention, his voice a low and ethereal rumble.

"Hrm?" Annivilla Restituos Wisdom, daughter of Tinkabelinos Hardleg and Peter Wisdom, looked up. Most of her attention had been on the bone she'd just snapped open to suck the marrow from. "Of course, Grandfather. We were talking about my magic lessons." She flitted up to his shoulder, munching on the now emptied bone.

"Not precisely, child. We were discussing the conclusion of your lessons." Oberon corrected her. "We have always known that your mixed blood has made you unique among our people, and your talent does you and our line credit, but your skils in invocation, have--"

"-have dead-ended, you can get to the point, Grandfather. Daddy taught me all about how people in charge like taking so long getting to the point." Anni interrupted, kicking her legs back and forth, gently tapping her heels against Oberon's shoulder armor, as she finished the bone. "There's something wrong inside me, isn't there?"

Oberon bristled, but continued, amidst the wariness of his retainers. "Yes. There is still much more for you to learn, and to inspire, however. You cannot stagnate, granddaughter. To that end, your mother and I have discussed matters, and agreed that it is time for you to reside with your father."

"You're sending me to live with Daddy? Aces!" She flies in a circle around Oberon's head, before swinging in to gently kiss his forehead, beneath the brow of his helmet. "Thank you, Grandfather! There's so much I've been wanting to see. First I'm going to get Daddy to take me to the Louvre, and then to America so I can see all the museums in New York, and--"

"ANNIVILA." Oberon's voice shook the chamber, and the half-fairy immediately settled down, descending and folding her wings obediently.

"Yes, Grandfather."

"While your father and his allies are...formidable, I am not so convinced of his ability to keep you safe. To that end, I have arranged for you to bring a retainer with you. He is of suitable station, and his loyalty has been without question."

"He?"

"Zephyros, you may enter." Oberon beckons, and a pair of attendants draw back a mossy curtain.
