FAMILY: Only child. Father died when he was very young. Has a PLETHORA of cousins in Chicago and Atlanta and Monroe, Louisiana because his mom had 12 brothers and sisters. They’re all married with kids and are like his best friends/surrogate siblings.
SEXUALITY: He’s VERY gay, and everyone knows it though he feels like he still has some questions? Would like to try it with a girl, just once… At least. In other words, he would like a beard.
ACTIVITIES: Yearbook, drama, choir, he takes photos for the paper.


APPEARANCE: Lucas is a pretty average height guy. He has dark hair he usually spikes and stunning blue eyes that sort of pop out of his head. He has a pretty deep voice and normally keeps up with his grooming. You wouldn’t see him with any sort of scruff on his face and he likes to keep his hands clean. Lucas has a way of flipping his hand when he talks and throws his head back when he laughs. He’s quick with a smile, a joke, a jest. He’s very sarcastic in his mannerisms and the way he talks. He’s a fun, easy-going guy.

STRENGTHS: Lucas is loyal and sarcastic. He is an amazing writer. He can color coordinate anything and always seems to know just what to say whether it be comforting a friend or spicing up a party.

WEAKNESSES: He’s sarcastic, which can be a fault in the wrong crowd, but more than that he’s hiding his own emotional pain. His mom has been very encouraging of who he is, but he’s still really insecure about it. Last year a group of guys called him a fairy and glued wings to his locker. To say he was hurt and had a hard time dealing is an understatement.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Lucas is quiet and shy in school. He sort of keeps to himself. But get him around his friends or on his own and he’s totally different. He’s always talking, laughing, carrying on. He loves giving hugs and talking. And texting. He has often been accused of having his phone super glued to his hand.

Lucas is really endearing. He’ll stay up hours listening to someone heartbroken, going shopping with people, just being there for someone. He’s the one that shows up at your door with a box of tissues and a gallon of ice cream. He’s loyal to a fault and really only gets mad when people pick on his friends, screaming and getting in people’s faces with his fiery temper. When people pick on him he sort of tends to just pull himself back though. Recedes into himself. He’s a great guy. He loves his mama and his cousins. His family is HUGE and they’ve rented out whole restaurants before for gatherings. Their white elephant gift exchange is practically world renowned and his friends are often vying for him to take them, and of course he brings them all.

But besides the money, you couldn’t ask for a more warm and loving family. His mama is incredibly warm and loving. His uncles, aunts, cousins and everyone have never met a stranger. They’re the most supportive and wonderful representation of Southern hospitality this side of the Mississippi.

HISTORY: Lucas Rite was born in 1993 in Mobile, Alabama to Jennifer Allen-Rite. He is descendant who founded Rite-Aid on his father’s side and his mom’s family had lots of generational money from their family’s cotton farm. In January of 1995, Lucas’s father got in a car accident and died. Since his mom had moved away from home to be with her husband, she decided she wanted to be closer to family. So two of her brothers living in Chicago encouraged her to come up to be closer to family. A lot of the family migrated up there over time.

In Elementary school Lucas felt stigmatized by a lot of his peers. The boys were all weird around him and he mostly got on with the girls. He loved watching Disney movies and having sleep overs. It wasn’t until middle school where he realized that he wished he was Arial so he could kiss Prince Eric did he think maybe he was gay.

Always one to keep his clothes and things in order, often telling his mother what she could and couldn’t wear, Luke was often picked on by the other boys. He was tormented really and often came home in tears. During Freshman year he switched schools in October because some boys glued fairy wings on his locker.

Lucas’s family loves him and is very supportive. His mom got him a sewing machine and every episode of Project Runway for Christmas, his favorite show. He never misses an episode. Lucas tries to lay low because he knows he’s gay but he doesn’t know he’s gay. He thinks women are beautiful and wants to experiment to try himself, but a tall, muscular, athletic guy makes his heart pitter patter. He loves shopping and hanging out with his best girlfriends.
