Dislikes: People in general (Anastas especially), sports, vampires, and being wrong. Quirks: Took the apparation class at the AAW the moment winter break began; Kaz is missing all his toes on his left foot due to splinching and is slightly off balance at times now because of it. Kazamir also has an odd fascination and interest in vampires and similar beings (ie werewolves) ever since his mother's death. Secrets: Abernathy and Kaz used to be friends... he denies that still even though people know it to be the truth. Strengths: Transfiguration, quick learner, multi-tasker, self preserving, intelligent, natural charmer and hardworking. Weaknesses: Rude, short tempered, foul mouth, short attention span, spiteful, and vengeful. Detailed personality: It isn't uncommon for Kazamir to be locked up in his room studying spells, practicing any sort of magic, reading endless books, painting here and there to calm himself, and have numerous ash trays scattered around his room with half smoked cigarettes burning slowly. His short temper is matched with a short attention span that must be occupied by many activities all at once. Kaz isn't challenged by a majority of his schoolwork and when he's in class he is often doing something other than what he should. He tends to have a book he wants to read open inside his textbook, tapping or shaking some part of his body, and sneering at his fellow classmates. His snobbish air is rightly so for no matter how many times he is called out for not paying attention he is able to answer any question, perform any spell, etc. with ease. Kazamir looks at his parent's relationship to justify why he doesn't see the point in being romantically involved with someone else. He is far too into himself to notice someone else anyhow and to care about another person's feelings would be quite a challenge. A challenge without anything to gain from it. He does however have some positive qualities with his ability to see things from another point of view. Typically he doesn't bother with it though because he believes most people aren't interesting or deserving enough to be understood. Personal History: Kazamir grew up in a home with parents that should have never had children. Both parents seemed to have commitment issues and their destructive relationship led to a rocky childhood for their sons. Candis dated other men while married to Kostya and even had one night stands on occasion. Unfortunately for her she got in bed with the wrong man who was no man at all. He was a vampire and took her life after a long, bloody night. Candis' death didn't effect Kostya too harshly but did have a stronger impact on Kazamir and some of his brothers. Valentin certainly the most effected since he was the closest to Candis. After Candis' death Kostya and his four sons were quickly uprooted from their home in Russia and relocated in the United States (just outside of LA). Valentin was, obviously, forced to transfer schools and for that he blamed his father. He wasn't happy about attending Dresden Academy though he did enjoy his schooling there. Sorted into Putnam, it is unclear where Yevgeni will end up. Speaking of his brothers, Kazamir and Valentin get along fine whereas Kazamir and Anastas have a strong distaste for one another. Kazamir gets along best with Yevgeni because the two share the most in common especially with their strong interest in school. Kazamir does respect Dresden Academy and enjoys attending he just has a lame way of showing it. He is rarely challenged by his schoolwork, it seems, but when he is challenged by something it consumes his time until he has mastered it and knows it inside and out. Sometimes Kazamir believes he should have been sorted into Sonnier... and then he curses out a freshman and pushes the ludicrous thought back out of his head. Occasionally Kaz will cut loose and show up at random parties or events with other students. After a few drinks he will talk to random people but rarely does he ever hang out with the same person twice. Kaz doesn't have any close friends for the most part and when he's socializing it is never with the same person twice... typically. Kaz hungers to learn more and more and strives to be an extremely powerful wizard. He won't ever be satisfied and he won't stop and hopes that no one gets in his way (for their sake).
