TinyMeat Work

Well I've been hard at work on TinyMeat.com. We're currently upgrading all the software and making the theme for all of it universal. It's definitely a project but it's one I welcome even when the going gets tough!

We upgrade our account to Media Temple's Grid Servers which have been nice to us so far.

I hung out with an old friend, John tonight. We had a good time catching up on things and I always learn something when I speak with him. I passed my 2 static IP address idea by him and he okay'd it, said it should work fine.

Maybe I'll scan my little network drawing and post that eventually. I have to get some sleep cause tomorrow I am going all out on the TinyMeat website!

I also need to install the KaoKitty and Gothic Boy/Girl moodthemes onto the server, then I'll work on others.

Wow, I've set up another LiveJournal based server. Currently it's in a VERY private testing mode and anyone who is not on this network will not be able to reach it. The install for the most of it was smooth, I did hit a few snags but I'll write about that in detail later.

For me to set this to be a live server, I am going to have to purchase 2 new Airports (1 Extreme and 1 Express) and also a new switch. The switch is cheap, $13.00 from NewEgg, I just need to find some funding for the other items. Although before that I need to ask GMA if I can get 1 more static IP address (I don't need an entire block).

Alright, well I am going to go watch Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with Emilie now.
