Swords:
Blades of Zz'ria - 'Cleave through magical constructs, metal, & stone. Lethal to even the most powerful evil magical beings. It can pass through the virtuous and pure without causing injury.

It can be interpreted that this enchantment makes people immune to the almost universal-slicing nature of the sword if they are either 1: virtuous or 2: innocent

Weaknesses and flaws:
Aside from emitting smoke and being able to survive breathing it like normal air, and the bizarre shifts of hair color, Satin has all the normal human limitations, albeit often pushed in terms of workouts, etc.
Nearly falling over when your sword mysteriously passes through a misguided hero-or-innocent who's about to really mess you up is a nuisance.

Backstory:
Satin's parents met a wedding of friends. Kylun still had a lost fiancee to grieve, and was still trying to adjust to the 'normal' life he hadn't let since he was 10. Bridget had been saved from anti-mutant pressures by a passel of superheroines who weren't going to drag her into the Life, but thought she needed to get out more. Commiserations and identity occurred over the punchbowl, followed by love, marriage, and a baby named after the aforementioned dead fiancee but, you know, a more British version.

As her parents agreed it was a dangerous world, it was deemed okay for Kylun to teach Satin all of his old tricks from his days as a transdimensional freedom-fighter and as a superhero....usually remembering to tell her which ones were which. She took to the training passionately, and designed a white outfit in honor of her deceased namesake. In what spare time this and normal school allowed, she worked in the kitchens at the Chalk and Cheese.
