CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Alexander K. Nott, Nobody knows what the k stands for, and he plans to keep that way.
Birthday/Age: December 20. 17.
House/Year: Hufflepuff. 7th.
Classes: Just a list of classes your character is taking.
History: Theodore Nott had always been sort of careless about the whole pureblood supremecy thing, despite the fact that his father was a Death Eater and his friends were on their way to become Death Eaters too. He went through life being careless, especially after his mother died, and saw no real gain in becoming a Death Eater, since obviously all it led you to was Azkaban. So, instead of following the footsteps of his father, he decided to become a Healer, thanks to his excellent scores in potions. It was a good thing his father was in prison and his grandparents (on his mother's side, of course) were more caring, because otherwise, he would have been disowned for choosing, in his father's words, a pansy's job.

Theodore rather liked healing, and found that her rather liked his colleague, Natalie Kennedy, also. She was a Ravenclaw two years above him, and he had maybe seen her once or twice at school. She was pretty and alluring, with a sweet, caring nature that he had never had in his entire life-time. Eventually, they fell in love, and married a few years later. Natalie, aware of Theodore's family history, made a point not to mention that she was actually a muggle-born, and whenever he asked about her family history, simply said they were deceased and changed the subject soon after.

A few years later, after getting their careers in line, Natalie found out she was pregnant. Much more ecstatic than her husband, Natalie spent most of her time off preparing while Theodore worried about whether or not he would become his father. He vowed not to, but worried that it wouldn't be enough. His worries were forgotten however, when little Alexander was born.

Alexander was doted on by his parents and was definitely a momma's boy. He loved following her around and watching her cook and garden, but he also loved reading in his father's lap in their library. He loved both of his parents equally, and they made sure that he had everything he needed and was safe from the world, and this may or may not be the reason he turned out to be so sensitive and, well, a little bit of a wimp.

Sometime when he was around six, Theodore found out about Natalie's muggle-born heritage, and the two got into a huge argument that led to Theodore actually leaving for a couple of weeks. They were two very stubborn people, and though Theodore really didn't have that much of an issue with her being muggle-born, it still hurt him that she hadn't told him after all these years of marriage. Alex was distraught by his father's absence, but Theodore returned after a few weeks of the silent treatment and letting off some steam.

Evidently, his parents made up, because a few weeks later, Natalie found out she was pregnant again. Alex was very eager for the arrival of his new sibling, but a little bit jealous because then he wouldn't have all the attention. When his new baby sister Allison was born though, he found that he quite liked taking care of her, and has been taking care of her ever since.

Alex led a pretty normal childhood up until he went to Hogwarts, and when it was his turn to go to Hogwarts, he was homesick immediately after stepping on the train. He had never been away from home before, and he was pretty scared, but after being sorted into Hufflepuff, he felt quite at home with his housemates.

Throughout Hogwarts, Alex has had his share of mishaps and excitement; In his 1st and 2nd year he was bullied by a 6th year, and he has never been kissed and never had a girlfriend. He is the best student in Astronomy out of his whole year, and he is an expert at persuading the house elves for food from the kitchens. The only thing Alex really thinks he needs in life is courage, and that is what he currently strives for.

Personality: Alex is the kind of guy who girls love to have as a friend, but never a boyfriend. He's romantic, sweet, caring, and has an uncanny knack for understanding girls. Unfortunately for him, he's not slick in the slightest, and when it comes to wooing the ladies, he fails miserably. He's awkward and sensitive, with a heart of gold, but he has no spine and is always getting stepped on and used by others. He doesn't really mind, though, since, naive as he is, he believes he is just being a good friend; the Hufflepuff way.

Poor Alex can try his hardest when it comes to studying and making grades, but he'll always just be average. He strives to be the ideal son for his parents, even though they love him the way he is (though his father wishes he were just a little bit manlier) and tends to fall short because he strives for too much. He is clumsy and awkward and quiet, and most people will walk right past him without even noticing he's there.

When you get to know Alex, however, he can be really quirky and fun to be around. He's definitely a goof; he makes jokes he thinks are funny but no one else does, and starts talking really fast and loud, as if he is a completely different person form his normally soft-spoken, stuttery self. He's definitely an oddball, but he is a sweet and loyal friend who just wants to be somebody.

Major Details:

+ Alex secretly aspires to be a comedian, even though he is NOT FUNNY AT ALL.

+He likes to collect accessories, like sunglasses and hats ad scarves. He thinks they make him look cool.

+ Alex is one mean cook, and if ever he was able to woo a lady to have dinner, she would fall in love with him at first bite.

+ MORE LATERR.

PB: Sondre Lerche.

Writing Sample: I am not giving you a writing sample because I am LAZY.
