Background: In a pseudo-arctic world with a long and unpronounceable name, Viking clans rule the seas by pillaging others and slaying monsters. You name it, the Vikings have hunted it. For centuries. They've probably eaten it too.

As part of the Viking clan Agmundr, Myr is the eldest daughter of Chief Grimarr Sigurdarson and his first wife, Hildr Snorradottir. She has two elder brothers, one younger brother, one younger sister, and several half-brothers and sisters.

Myr had been undergoing Viking training since the age of 7 and has been part of her clan's raiding party since the age of 14. She discovered her magical talent by chance at the age of 17 while raiding a dragon's den with her clan and asked (read: forced) her father to send her off to a magical school to develop it. Thus, Myr's enrollment at the Devonian Academy.

LIKES: Her family and clan, clan activities (hunting for monsters, fighting/training, and pillaging), her dagger collection, traditional weaponry (swords, axes, and spears), adventuring, treasure (to send back to the clan)

DISLIKES: FIREARMS AND OTHER LONG RANGE WEAPONS/ABILITIES, cheaters, useless people, people who say they're useless, whiners

ABILITIES:

- Physical: Myr has been trained in the ways of her warrior clan since childhood. Thus, she has developed above average strength, stamina, and agility. She specializes in fighting with daggers and knows how to use most traditional weapons. Like the other female warriors of her clan, she also possesses an above average toughness. Most injuries are "just a flesh wounds", after all.

- Magical: Myr has only one real magic ability: she can step on air/minor levitation.

COMBAT WEAKNESSES:
- She's only human.
- Easy to outwit and out-think.
- Has no magic abilities except her one magic talent and is vulnerable to all types of magic. (Has fire resistance only with cape on)
- Has no long range capabilities and on principle alone will deny herself any ranged abilities/attacks.
- Is very aggressive and reckless while fighting. Her only defense is the light armor she wears and her combat experience.

PERSONALITY:

Independent, vulgar, and violent, Myr Grimarsdottir is a force to be reckoned with. Daughter of one of the oldest Viking clans in her world, the Agmundir, Myr is as typical a barbarian as you can get and is proud of it. Most of the time, too proud. But, because her Dad said so, she will try to be polite to people. The keyword here is try.

Myr is a woman of principles and honor and dislikes/disrespects people who do nothing to earn their keep or use underhanded methods to attain their goals. However, what she hates the most are people who use long range weapons and abilities in combat. She will go into a frenzy at the mere sight or hint of a person having this capability.

Myr is a very literal person and means whatever she says and applies the same to others. She has no truck with subtlity or complicated intelectual matters and will most probably demand you simplify yourself with a punch to the face.

Lastly, Myr is a person who is perfectly capable of taking care of herself in any situation. Her priority at any time is to secure two things: shelter and food. When busy, Myr becomes impatient with others to the point that she appears anti-social. She is a practical person and will not do anything without a valid reason. Randomness is definitely not a word in her vocabulary.

Anything else?:

- Myr will use bad words. Most of the time. Be assured that I will censor most of it. IMPORTANT!: MYR IS NOT ME AND VICE-VERSA. ONCE MYR STARTS BADMOUTHING PEOPLE, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT I AM NOT TARGETING YOU OR ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL VIEWS. THANK YOU!
- Has no sense of manners and feels no need to learn them.
- Will go into hunting mode when hungry and will eat almost anything as long as it isn't poisonous. Be sure to tell her that your pet isn't fair game.
- Files her front teeth and canines into points according to Agmundr tradition.
- Is not used to worlds with hot or even normal climates. Will seek a way to cool herself off and be lazy for as long as the day is too hot for her.
- Myr was given a cloak by her parents before her departure. It is made from dragon hide which keeps the cold out and warmth in. Useless in Summer, a blessing in Winter. Also gives resistance to fire.
- Has only basic reading and writing skills and has mostly no interest in anything academic. Has no problems with falling asleep in class or telling her teachers that they're boring.
- The only intellectual activity Myr enjoys is writing letters to her clan and becomes excitable when she recieves letters back.
