Star City Slayer(s)? [16 Feb 2013|06:33pm]
The death rate in Star City has taken a sudden turn for the worse. Lately, the bodies of teenagers have been found with mysterious markings cut into them. All of these teenagers have had one thing in common; they were all prodigies in one way or another. Some were athletic stars, others were extremely intelligent (geniuses even), and the last few were the heirs to their family fortunes. With the death toll on these teenagers rising, some of Star Cities heroes have taken to the case. To the detectives of Star City, it's obvious that these are occult-style killings.

This plot is meant to be a longer, more background plot to give some of the heroes in Star City something specific to reference during their nightly patrols. The following things can happen before the second major breakthrough in the plot:

1. During nightly patrols, the Star City heroes stop (or fail to stop) a cloaked figure from murdering a teenager with some fantastic quality about them. The cloaked figure will always get away.

2. Traps are set for the heroes that are noticeably younger, because being a hero at such a young age is a fantastic quality in itself. A cloaked figure is present within the shadows, but unable to be caught for some mysterious reason. These traps are always something like, buildings crumbling around them, or the floor falling beneath them, or something like that. Something that would leave them trapped and hurt enough for a ceremonious killing, if the trap were actually to succeed.

The first major breakthrough in the plot would be when all the heroes involved decide to pull together on one patrol, and finally capture a cloaked figure. They interrogate the cloaked figure, which is an older man, about his actions.

stomping grounds - test scene [02 Oct 2012|05:40pm]
It had already proven to be a productive night so far.  Keith had put an end to two robberies and three muggings, and daylight was still a few hours away.  For some reason, the Triangle always proved to be the most entertaining place for a hero to get his rocks off on fighting crime.  You'd think that the criminals would have learned by now, right?

Whatever, Keith thought to himself as he leaned over the edge of a roof two stories high.  Just gives me more fun.

Character Name: Keith Harold Queen
Character LJ: legitimate_son
Physical Description:
Age: Nineteen
Birthday: October 24
Codename: Green Arrow
PB: Bradley James

Abilities
Keith's weapon of choice is the longbow, but he has been known to use recurve and compound bows, as well as crossbows. With an assortment of trick arrows, gadgets, and even a sword for close combat, Keith is a formidable non-super-powered being. He has trick arrows such as the boxing glove arrow, bolo arrow, net arrow, electric shock arrow, explosive arrow and so on.  He is an excellent shot, capable of accurately shooting up to twenty-two arrows within the course of a minute.

Keith is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat, having been trained by both of his parents and various other heroes his parents are closely associated with.  He is most proficient in Judo, a trademark fighting style for both of his parents (although he is also skilled in kickboxing, boxing, dragon style kung fu, and karate).  His brother, Connor, also had a hand in training him.

Keith is also somewhat business savvy.

Weaknesses and Flaws:
Although Keith is an experienced combatant in many regards, he is only human.  His long ranged fighting capability is limited to the amount of arrows or bolts he carries with him.

Character Location: Star City
Alignment: Hero
Team: Independent
Relatives: Ollie Queen (Father, Alive), Dinah Lance (Mother, Alive), Sin Queen (Adoptive Sister, Alive), Barbara Henrietta Queen (Sister, Alive), Roy Harper (Adoptive Brother, Alive), Connor Hawke (Half-Brother, Alive), Robert Tomonaga (Half-Brother, Alive), Lian Harper (Niece, Alive), Sam Weaver (Adoptive Nephew, Alive)

History:
Keith Queen is the son of Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance, and older brother to Barbie Queen.  He grew up being a little immature, but eventually balanced out after spending time as an independent hero on the street of Star City, as well as helping his father tend to the family business (although he is still a goofball every now and again).  He branches out to other heroes who he has grown up with, and has encountered various organizations such as the League of Assassins and the Monkey Fist Cult.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?  As an independent hero roaming the streets of Star City, and helping out some teams here and there.
What are you planning to do with this character?  Some Star City plots with other Star City related heroes.  Definitely some family plots
What do you want to see happen with this character?  I maybe eventually want to see him join a team, and start to grow up from being so planted in Star City.  You know, expand his horizons.
