Hi peeps,
I've been absent for a couple days as I've been busy working on house things. I had planned go to Lowe's this morning but the roads are a sheet of ice. Maybe by this afternoon the temps will warm and melt the icy patches. I suppose I'll have to finish up the quarterly reports, now bummer. *kicks dirt*

Anyway, it's exciting to read the news about free accounts vs early adopters. WooHoo! I'm thinking about buying a permanent account but see info in the FAQ's regarding the cost for "two" perm accounts. I suppose I should see if anyone wants to go in with me on that.

Not much else to report....have a nice week and stay warm.

...and I'm feelin' good. (I was going to write groovy.....sheeot, I must be channeling my mother)

I've been working on the master bedroom today. I found a beautiful pillow and pulled all of the colors for the bedding, drapes, pillows and everything for the bathroom from it. I've "almost" made a decision on paint colors for the walls but will need to wait until the weather warms before tacklling that job. I'll probably re-glaze all the furniture then, too. Sunday I'm off to the fabric store....god help me. Anyway, I took video of the rooms before and will post before and after late Sunday. Yowsa!

Tomorrow evening is the company dinner so "watch this space" for party pictures come Sunday.

Top 'O the mornin' to you,

I've made a suggestion to Jimmy, with you all in mind. As you know the S2 styles were deleted because they didn't appear to be working, etc. I've suggested that Jimmy create a contest for new layouts specific to his site, as long as the creators get full credit. Therefore eliminating copyright issues. I know many of you are very talented in this area so I wanted to give you a heads-up that he may be offering something as far as a contest in the future.

Hi there,
I was happily typing along a few minutes ago when my keyboard died, mid-sentence. It took me a while to figure out I needed to change the batteries, lol. I've change my mouse batteries several times but never the keyboard. Live and learn.

It is raining hard outside now. Maybe I'll wait until it lightens up before for going on my search for tax forms and Turbo Tax. Tax season is why my hair is graying, grrrr.

I need to remember to call the local swimming pool and ask their hours. I want to try swimming to shape up but don't want to be around a bunch of splashers.....or people in general. *gg*. Gawd knows the last time I had a swim suit on. I did see that the old fashioned suits , the kind that cover more skin, are back in fashion, maybe I should order one of those before I go.

I want to learn to scuba, too. Not that there is anywhere to do that in Oregon but I figure I can use it when I retire to a tropical island, yeah right.

Good morning,

The snow is gone, the rain is back and life goes on as normal in rural Oregon. It's 5:30am and I'm sitting here enjoying one of the last cups of peppermint coffee left over from Christmas. Ahhh, now on to Spring.

I hope all you LJ'ers who have come over here will bring more friends with your tokens, I think we can be a big help Jimmy and make this a cool site.
