History:
Arica Deborah Darnell is the daughter and youngest child of Tyler and Caitria Darnell. She was born into the royal family of Atlantis and was raised as a princess of Atlantis. Arica loves being a princess and everything related to being a princess. She loves being in the royal court and spens as much time as she could there.
Arica was a happy child and beloved by her family and the people of Atlantis. She is Arthur’s Little Princess and absolutely adores her grandfather and he dotes upon her. She can do no wrong in his eyes and is everything he had hoped for when Cait was born.
Arica was raised on land and in Atlantis alongside her older brother Ian, though she identifies more with being an Atlantean than being a human. She loves the surface and people and things on it, but she loves Atlantis more.
When she turned sixteen she asked Arthur and her parents for permission to go to the surface and spend some time with the Teen Titans. Unable to say no to his granddaughter, Arthur allowed her to go under the condition that she spend at least one weekend a month in Atlantis and at least four weeks a year in the underwater kingdom. Her parents agreed and Arica went to join the Teen Titans.
Arica is at all times a proper princess. She is always very calm (A princess does not get worked up or shows it) and kind (a princess is kind to her subjects and those around her) and very polite (princesses have the have the best manners). She is very neat and likes everything in its place and proper order almost to the point of being obsessive compulsive about it.
She does have the Curry temper, but will almost never lose control of it or show it. She keeps it reined in and never lets it control her.
Abilites: Arica inherited her father’s absorption cells allowing her to absorb the abilities of the adults around her while she was growing up. Arica has the following abilities:
- Aquaman level strength, speed, durability and telepathy
- Magical abilities of Garth and Cerdian. Trained by both.
- Cait’s hydrokinesis.
- Arica has an affinity for red light inherited from her grandmother Mera and can manifest the red ring and its powers, even when calm. She doesn’t like to do this, but has used it in battle. She can vomit up pure hatred, but has a great dislike for doing so since it is very un-princess-like
- Amphibious nature due to being ½ Atlantean.
