Biography: Cricket is the only child of Calanthe and an as yet unnamed elf in their tribe. She had a wonderful childhood with her mother and the village although she did notice that she never quite fit in with anyone.

Now that she's older she is trying to help her mother figure out how to change Meridian and make it a more peaceful place.

Biography: Calanthe was born the second child in a strong line of elfin warriors. She as brought up learning the techniques of war and battle from her brother and parents but eventually adapted to the New Meridian style of diplomacy. She believes that the problems in Meridian can be solved through explanation and diplomacy but her theories are not to be confused with an unwillingness or inability to fight as she is a fierce warrior to be dealt with on the field of battle.

Calanthe had a daughter with an as yet unnamed tribe member, she raised the girl with two different schools of thought, the warrior and the diplomat. She received one of the seats of power in Meridian as the elves and mages would like to make peace among the people and she has always been a leading example of peace.

Strengths: His ability to turn off sympathy and empathy in the heat of the moment, it makes him a better fighter and a huge tool for his father's sneaky revenge.

Secrets: He wants to be friends with his cousins, he just doesn't want to disappoint his father.

Biography: Wolf was born in CLDF to a woman who was put in prison for life. On the day of his birth he was given to his father who had already left the facility, three months before his birth, Victor Graves. Victor raised Wolf all on his own and taught the boy that the best way to live was to lie, cheat, and steal.

Wolf was not raised to know his cousins, as his father and his father's twin were not talking to each other the entire time, but he knew who his cousins were and he knew that his assignment from his father was to make sure their lives were miserable.

When Wolf was old enough to figure out who his mother was he went to CLDF to visit her and he has visited her every weekend since that day. He loved to talk to his mother even though she unknowingly makes him feel bad for his actions against his cousins.

Wolf refuses to call Victor "dad" or "father" and simply refers to him as Victor. Vic doesn’t seem to mind. He followed his cousins to Meridian on his father's orders and plans to reek havoc and perhaps steal a seat of power.

Appearance: She gets most of her looks from her mother with a little bit of her dad's wild look. She's pretty average in the height department, not too small, not too tall. When in her form she is snow white, much like her grandpapa Ham's familiar.

Personality: She's sweet, kind, and easy going. She's very forgiving and gentle.
Strengths: Ability to shift easily between her forms.
Weaknesses:
Secrets: She saw her cousin Wolf crying in the woods once when she was in wolf form. She sat by his side for a few minutes until he gained his composure. He only said "thanks pretty girl, I can never trust mages the way I trust you guys."

Biography: The only child to Aiden and Willow Graves, she is unique in her ability to control her forms. It took many years before she was able to control this, but she did it none the less with the help of her mother and her teachers. She grew up living a pretty simple life and attending Salem Academy with her cousins, avoiding one particular cousin (Wolf) at her parents request and learning as much as she could. Her cousin Wolf has a way of making her life and her cousins's lives much more complicated than they needed to be. Half of Wolf's plots they knew were his, the other half they did not.

Once she finished her schooling at Salem, Hero knew she was bound for great things. She didn't want to stay in New Meridian where she knew she would be wasting her time and skill. She wanted adventure, she wanted to do something dangerous and take a leap. She decided to move out to Meridian with her cousins and friends where she might be able to help restore order.

Strengths: Break binding is the key to her pan magic. Orion. Cheerful and bubbly attitude. Ability to see the silver lining. She's a talented weaver.
Weaknesses: Inability to see the bad in people and places. Orion.
Secrets: She weaves dreams for her brother, she is his life match and hasn't figured out how to tell him yet.

Biography: Nyx was born approximately two minutes before the birth of her twin brother Orion and she has lorded that over him for years. She grew up living simply with her parent and her brother. She attended Salem Academy and learned her special magic from her mother and her grandpa Enki.

She spent most of her time in the academy hanging out with her cousins and friends, flirting with boys, and avoiding her cousin Wolf. She's had a few bad break ups, one pregnancy scare (which he didn't think was possible), and she did a bit of traveling. Now that she's graduated she wants to make a difference, she believes that moving out to Meridian will give her the opportunity to really change the way things are.

Personality: Orion is definitely a night owl, he functions far better the later it is and way wore in the mornings. He is cheerful and sweet like his sister but has always had a tendency to get into more trouble than her. He's a delightfully mischievous, never causing any harm and always having a good time. He is the life of the party while still being a good shoulder to lean on.
Strengths: Binding magic is the key to his pan magic. Nyx. He's also incredibly talented at Daemon magic.
Weaknesses: Morning, he sometimes struggles with focusing if it's too early. Nyx.

Biography: Orion was born two minutes after his twin sister Nyx who can't seem to let go that fact that she is slightly older. He grew up with his family and friends, living simply and attending Salem Academy. He made tons of friends while he was in school and broke a few hearts. As he grew up, he knew that there were bigger things out there.

Once he finished up his schooling he decided to move out to Meridian where he might be able to help with the unstable political environment.
