Detailed personality: Tina is a shy, quiet girl, which seems to clash a little with her chosen hobby of cheerleading. In fact, they work quite well together, as she is very much a 'support act'. She will support her friends and classmates in anything they want to do, though she will (very timidly) speak up if she feels it is to their detriment. She's quite in tune with nature and a very back-to-basics sort of individual. She has no need for labels or brands and just likes things to be pure and simple as best they can be.

Personal History: Christina French is the middle child of a family that up until her acceptance to Dresden had no idea that wizardry even existed. Her parents are very supportive of her unusual skills, though they don't fully understand them or the responsibilities that come with them. Her younger brother is also magical, having been invited to Dresden in his eleventh year. Their older sister showed no signs of magical ability, but it caused no issue in the family.

Miller French works in a factory in their hometown of Canton, Ohio, and Cherilyn is a receptionist at a realtor. They try very hard to provide a stable and privileged upbringing for their children and though Tina hasn't 'officially' come out to them yet, they have an inkling about her sexuality and will continue to love and support her regardless.

Any notable differences from the pb? Tall and lanky, standing almost 6 feet tall at only sixteen. Slumps terribly. Has a tattoo of an outline of a triangle on the inside of his left wrist that his friend did with a compass and a black pen. Many more will be gotten once he can figure out a way to get them that doesn't involve a teenager with a pointy object. His hair stands up in all directions when unwashed (which is most of the time) and he usually just flattens it under a hat or pushes it back until it stays on its own.

He likes all these bands you haven't heard of, and once you have heard of them, that band is suddenly on the outs. Catcher in the Rye? His favourite book (even though he's never actually read it). Oh, you have strong opinions about something? They're wrong, and here's why. Even if you're not wrong, he'll argue with you for the sake of fucking up your established belief system, because there is a fundamental anarchy about life that he believes you need to subscribe to. Everything about society is flawed, and he alternately hates and embraces it, though mocks it completely no matter which stance he happens to be taking at the time. He objects to being told what to do, even if it's in his best interests, and will almost always rebel against any advice or instruction.

Personal History: Riley is the oldest of four children to Michael and Elaine Bloodfeather. His father is Algonquin, and his mother a sixth generation Canadian of Irish descent. The family has been in Ottawa for many years, and it is where Riley and all his siblings were born and raised. The magical history of his family is spotty; his mother's family is mostly wizarding, while his father's family had the odd wizard here and there, and in the past, native shamans (though the wizards dispute whether or not this was superstition or actual magic).

Riley received two invitations in his eleventh year, one for L'Ecole Royal in Eastern Canada, and the other for Dresden Academy. Not speaking a word of French (and disinclined to go to Quebec, of all places) he chose Dresden.
