I found some heart confetti from our Valentine's Day decorating spree sitting on the windowsill when Galatea knocked over the bag and almost choked on it. I think Wilbur was secretly laughing, but don't tell her about it. I just bought a new lamp to replace the last one that got destroyed in The Great Potter Animal Chase of December 1978 and I'm hoping to not have to spend money for another for at least six months.

Speaking of Valentine's Day, mine was lovely. Even though a certain husband of mine decided that my birthday being so close meant that he didn't have to splurge (oh, he knows I'm joking; I love what he got me), I got a very nice box of chocolates from my 'one-legged admirer'. Hm.
