Posted with Marind'r

Mirand'r smiled with delight at Maxand'r, proud to report to him the recent news of their victories.  It had taken them so long to become established on Tamaran, but they had finally done it.  And they were slowly moving into place to take complete control.

"We've successfully infiltrated the palace as servants and guards, my lord.  I have also received news from Dand'r that control of districts six and ten have come into our possession.  Casiand'r is slowly being backed into a corner, my lord.  We will soon have our chance to take control of her entire operation."

genius tactician
Leader of The Reformation

Maxand'r was part of Blackfire's Elite Guard before she was defeated and Natand'r took over as the Ruler of Tamaran.  He's cold and calculating, and he hates Natand'r with a passion.  Maxand'r prefers not to fight himself, but is very capable when put in the situation.

Casiand'r
Ex-Elite Guard
Base Tamaranean Powers

genius martial artist
Leader of The Legion

Casiand'r was part of Blackfire's Elite Guard before she was defeated and Natand'r took over as the Ruler of Tamaran.  She's a Blackfire loyalist and is literally in love with Blackfire.  She will do anything to put Blackfire in power again, even if it costs her her own life.

Marind'r
General of The Reformation
Base Tamaranean Powers

Marind'r is the twin sister of Miriand'r.  She is Maxand'r most trusted General.  She is highly skilled in combat and persuasion.  She is most known for her defiance of Blackfire, and recently of Natand'r.  She believes that Tamaran should be run by normal Tamaraneans, and not by deformed or half-Tamaraneans..

Miriand'r
General of The Legion
Base Tamaranean Powers

Miriand'r is the twin sister of Marind'r.  She fell in love with Casiand'r and joined her cause.  Despite knowing she will never be with Casiand'r, she follows her every command with the utmost respect and fullest loyalty.

Briand'r
Elite Guard
Base Tamaranean Powers

Briand'r is one of Natand'r Elite Guard.  He is highly intelligent and respectable.  He is also Natand'r closest friend.  Briand'r provides Natand'r with his well of knowledge whenever needed.

Arand'r
General of The Reformation
Base Tamaranean Powers

Arand'r is the second General of The Reformation.  He is considered one of the deadliest assassins on Tamaran.

Harold'r
Elite Guard
Base Tamaranean Powers

Harold'r is another member of Natand'r Elite Guard.  He is close friends with Natand'r.  Harold'r is a highly trained martial artist and assassin.  He has easily foiled many attempts on Natand'r life by enacting a pre-emtive strike at the head of the problem.

Dand'r
General of The Reformation
Base Tamaranean Powers

Dand'r is yet another General of The Reformation.  He is skilled in combat and strategy, although Maxand'r outclasses his intelligence.  He is still very trustworthy and capable of providing insight where Maxand'r might not have looked.

Harind'r
General of The Legion
Base Tamaranean Powers

Harind'r is another General of The Legion, and the only male in the upper echelon of the organization.  He provides his strategical knowledge and insight for Casiand'r.  Although he is not much of a fighter, he is capable of defending himself to a degree.

THREE-FOR-ALL
ongoing tamaran plot

Blackfire was imprisoned and Mongul was thrown into the Black Mercy home planet, where he was also placed under the jurisdiction of the Green Lantern Core.  Since that time, everything on New Tamaran, now plainly called Tamaran, seemed to settle down under Natand'r's rule.  Despite the love the people of Tamaran felt for Natand'r, however, there were more powers vying for his seat on the throne and his head on their plate.  Two rebel factions called The Legion and The Reformation  formed behind the scene.  They oppose each other, but maintain the same goal: topple the government and take over.  Their leaders are Casiand'r and Maxand'r, respectively.  Both are highly skilled ex-guards of Blackfire.  Casiand'r is loyal to Blackfire, but Maxand'r only ever wanted to rule Tamaran himself.

1.)  The Legion and The Reformation, now well established, begin taking up territory on Tamaran and drafting civilians into their organizations.  Spies are planted into each organization, and even the palace.  (This will likely take many steps.)

2.)  Now that the two rebel groups have gotten their footing, they clash with each other and the royal guards/army for dominance.  Territory is taken on a daily basis, and casualties stack the longer the conflicts continue.

3.)  Natand'r pulls information from spies planted in The Reformation and plans an assault to destroy the rebel group by striking it's head.  Natand'r's spies, however, have been turned to double agents and he is directed to the base of The Legion.  Despite the confusion, Natand'r kills Casiand'r while his army and Elite Guard handles the rest of The Legion.  When they return from the battle, Natand'r finds Maxand'r in his throne and they fight.  Unfortunately, the weakened Natand'r and his Elite Guard are unable to defeat Maxand'r and his generals.  Natand'r escapes Tamaran with the help of his Elite Guard, who stay behind to cover his escape.

4.)  Natand'r travels to Earth while being pursued by Maxand'r's men.  His ship is damaged and he crash lands near the YJLA base and he is knocked out by the landing.  The YJLA arrives at the scene to save him.

5.)  Once Natand'r is safe and awake, he explains the situation on Tamaran and that he needs help in order to fight Maxand'r and his army.  The YJLA agree to help, and the accompany him to Tamaran.  They are unable, however, to enter the palace and are forced to land in a remote region on the planet.  There is a brief scuffle between them and supporters of Maxand'r, but Natand'r and the YJLA win.

6.)  One of Natand'r's Elite Guard contacts him and the YJLA once word has spread of their arrival.  S/he explains how much worse the situation has gotten, and even relates how Blackfire has been brainwashed into an attack dog.  Through some connections, the guard is able to give the YJLA undercover access to the palace.  Natand'r is too recognizable and opts to be captured and sent to the dungeons for torture.

7.)  The YJLA infiltrates the palace, rescues Natand'r and the rest of his Elite Guard, and they battle Maxand'r and his generals/new elite guard and the brainwashed Blackfire.  YJLA and Natand'r win, YJLA goes home.

The Aftermath of this plot is that Tamaran recovers after the defeat and public execution of Maxand'r and his generals/elite guard.  The rebellion and all that remains of it are demolished.

CHARACTER NAME:  Natand'r  (Nathan/Nate)
CHARACTER LJ: natandr
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Tall (6'1"), muscular, dark hair, teal eyes.  Pale yellow skin.
AGE: 19
BIRTHDAY:  January 18
CODENAME: Flamestar
PB:  Oliver Goodwill

ABILITIES:  Natand'r's tamaranean physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it into energy (this radiation can be absorbed from living beings, as well).  This energy is used to produce starbolts (of which Natand'r has orange starbolts).  Natand'r can produce starbolts from his hands and through his eyes.  Natand'r also has superhuman strength on par with Mongul's, and invulnerability.

Natand'r is considered to be a young genius and proficient tacticion.  He is also extremely skilled in martial combat.

WEAKNESSES AND FLAWS: Natand'r cannot fly naturally, like his mother.  His capacity for absorbing ultraviolet radiation is half that of the average Tamaranean, being only half-Tamaranean himself.  His invulnerability does not save him against magic, which is highly effective in a fight against Natand'r.

CHARACTER LOCATION/HOME: Tamaran/Visiting Earth
ALIGNMENT: Neutral
TEAM: n/a
RELATIVES:  Komand'r (Mother/Alive), Mongul (Father/Alive), Koriand'r (Aunt/Alive), Ryand'r (Uncle/Alive), Alleron Yat (Cousin/Alive)
HISTORY:
Komand'r, in her plans to continue her line, mated with Mongul to ensure a powerful heir to her throne in the future.  From that mating came Natand'r.  Komand'r and Mongul did not marry, yet Natand'r remained crowned prince of Tamaran.  He was raised and trained under his mother's watchful eye, and he even learned of the history behind his true father. However, Komand'r showed intense disdain for Mongul, and that passed down on Natand'r.  Natand'r was also bred to hate his aunt, Koriand'r.  However, he does not hold grudges with anything else.  Rather, he deviated slightly from the path of evil his mother was set on to be more neutral.  He decided to do only what benefits Tamaran.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?  He will be stranded on Earth after being attacked by outer space people.
What are you planning to do with this character? I'm not sure, actually.  He's not evil, but he's not "good".  I'll have to see what comes his way.
What do you want to see happen with this character?  An inner struggle between good and evil, right and wrong.
