Donations & Vote Now!

Heya people!

Great news, we're almost halfway there to getting a new server which is fabulous!! Thank you so much donators, you're the driving force behind Scribbld, and I know I've said this a million times, but I seriously appreciate it!!

Now for a poll! Vote for which design you think we should use for default user profile pages!

when do you plan on having early adaptor accounts shut off? it seems pretty ridiculous to have the site be "invite only" and leave it on early adaptor status so every person invited gets 15 codes, that doesnt really stop journal hogging anymore than it did when you took unvalidated journals away (when most of us were never sent validations by email anyway...) and gave people 10 each from the list. i mean i'm not trying to be a dick but it seems stupid.

idk, it's still a really new site, isn't it? how little time should 'early adapter' have? if this comes across dicky, i didn't mean for it to, i'm genuinely asking.

I think somewhere inside the complaint the point they were trying to make was that this website already had over 10,000 accounts and all of which are of Early Adopter status which makes that oh so 'rare' title, kinda pointless considering. Plus there's the fact that since people are given generous amount of invite codes, they can still hoard accounts and still invite everyone and their brother if they have 2-10 accounts or whatever.

Therefore, invite only = pointless. (in their opinion)
and EA = pointless (in their definition and opinion)

yeah it was more of just an observation than anything. maybe the site owner doesnt really realize the issue

well the whole point in "invite only" is to stop people from hogging journals and mass registering, but every new account made gets 15 invites.. that's all i mean

I'll agree that I like the orginal, just because it would probably be the best choice for role players (like myself).

HOWEVER, I have no complaints about going over to style 2. Its nice.

I'd prefer to keep the style as it currently is; it's easiest to use for people who put a lot of graphics in their profiles... I imagine graphics in tables will be very hard to set out with the 2nd Style that everyone is voting for.

Not voting because I don't really like either.

I like the one we have now, too, simply on the principle that you can customize it to a larger extent. I like putting banners and such, and just keeping it simple :) Sure it may look like a lot of journal sites, but it works and it allows you to add really great personal touches! Just my two cents.

I personally have no problem with the way the userinfos are now. They're nice and simple. (:

Also, I am lazy by default and like to cultivate the laziness in other people.

Hmmm! I think I'd like to keep it th way it is, though they're both pretty unique (liking the second more, though!). Maybe a vote with the three options? Or is it already determined that a change is for sure?
