○ nina marie jacobson made her grand entrance into society at two thirty in the afternoon on october 3, 1990. nina's birth is one that will be forever remembered in utah because when her mother adeline's water broke, her father, senator daniel jacobson was in the middle of giving an important speech. but when he found out that his wife's water had broken and that his baby girl was on the way, he stopped mid sentence, apologized to his audience and rushed his wife to the hospital.
○ growing up in a traditional jewish household with three older brothers, nina was adapt to a childhood that little girls could only dream of. when she was three, her father had nina's dream hose, a smaller replica of the family's estate, built for her to play in whenever she pleased and while most little girls are turned down by their parents when they ask for ponies, that didn't happen to nina. one year, on the last day of hanukkah, she had a pony waiting for her at the stables when she woke up. although incredibly spoiled, adeline raised her children to be two things: classy and respectful.
○ as a child, nina was involved in every activity from ballet to soccer and had plenty of freien leaving her never shy of a playdate or invite. as she got older, her popularity only grew. she hung out with an exclusive group of friends and in sixth grade met her match with kaela kennedy. nina had noticed kaela from the second she arrived at the school and because their last names came right after the other on the class list, they were seated next to each other in many classes. they didn't start really talking though until they were paired as gym partners. the girls soon found out that they shared a love for justin timberlake and shopping and from that day forward, they were attached at the hip.
○ in the jewish religion, when a girl turns tweleve or in some cases thirteen, she is expected to become a bat mitzvah and celebrate her "coming of age" with friends and family. while most kids went with sports themed or hawaiian themed parties, nina, in true nina fashion, went all out. she had a pretty in pink themed bat mitzvah where all of her guests had to wear something pink and she had the hottest dj at the time. it was the biggest party of the year with an exclusive guest list and after her party, she gained the title of "the jap" around school.
○ when it came time for her to turn sixteen, she had one of the biggest, most over the top parties in all of salt lake city. she had a jungle themed party and when she made her grand entrance, she came out with a snake wrapped around her, britney spears style. she had dj am, fat man scoop spinning all night and justin timberlake as her performer. she only invited two hundred of her closest friends and it was featured on my super sweet sixteen. and because she wanted to have the best party out of all of the episodes and all of her friends, she demanded that her parents get her a car that no one else had or would ever have. right before her party was over, her father presented her with a swarovski covered mercedes benz. according to the viewers and mtv, her episode was the most expensive and their favorite. to this day, her party is still talked about at school, just as she expected it to be. after getting the car, she hardly drove it. the only thing that appealed to her about the car was that she was the only person in the world that had it and would ever have it. she now drives a hummer and her friends make fun of her because she looks like a barbie standing next to her car.
○ although quite the social butterfly, nina does have quite the icy exterior.
