Detailed Description: Adriana stands at 5’6, with a slender build and long, toned limbs. Though she doesn’t do sports, she does keep toned and in shape with activities like ballet and yoga. She’s slim with gentle and somewhat generous curves.

Her dark brown hair is long and naturally wavy, usually worn hanging loosely around her shoulders. She puts it up when she’s doing anything physical, such as ballet, yoga, or cheer, or when she’s going to a particular formal function, and even then it’s only sometimes. She rarely uses makeup, preferring the natural look. When she does use it, it’s only to accentuate her already long and thick eyelashes and make her dark brown eyes stand out more.

When it comes to clothes, Adriana wears cute, stylish, form fitting clothes, even while in uniform. Out of uniform, she tends to show off her stomach in the warmer weather, to display her belly-button ring.

+While at Beauxbatons, Adriana had a whirlwind romance, fling thing, with a student teacher, which resulted in a pregnancy scare.

Detailed personality: Adriana is a product of her environment. Though her parents were loving, her older sister fostered a very fierce competitive streak in her. In order to prove herself, she will do whatever it takes - even if that means stepping over other people and using them. And she will not rest until she has beaten any obstacle in her way. When she has her mind focused on something, she is completely blind to anything that isn’t her goal.

She is not, however, completely without compassion or empathy. There are those that she has strong friendships with, people for whom she would do anything. It’s just that her competitive nature sometimes gets the better of her.

When she’s not trying to prove herself in something, she’s enthusiastic and warm, completely unlike the tenacious and aggressive person she becomes around her sister.

Personal History:
The Chase family is an established and affluent family in Savannah, Georgia, and has been since about the mid to late sixteen hundreds, when they first established themselves as a plantation family. Since then, the family has produced many successful lawyers, doctors, politicians, and more, helping to build Savannah up to the city it is today, all using good, honest hard work, for the family rarely produced any witches or wizards and when they did it was never spoken of. Until Daniel Chase was born, the first wizard born to the Chase family in generations.

From the beginning, Daniel had always been different, still it was a bit of a shock when his acceptance letter to CCI arrived. His parents weren’t exactly thrilled at the prospect of having a wizard in the family, but sent him along to the school anyway, figuring it would help him control the strange powers that made him so different so that he’d be able to blend in with everyone else. When he graduated, he went on to a muggle college just like his parents wanted (even if he was majoring in communications and computers). It seemed like everything was going to go back to normal for the Chase family, until Daniel met Felicia Jeffries. She was almost the complete opposite of Daniel - a witch from a proud magical family who never had to hide what she was - and he fell in love. For the first time in his life, Daniel did what he wanted to do and married her.

Not too long after, they welcomed a daughter whom they named Kendra. A few years later, Adriana was born, and then just a year later her brother Oliver joined them. The children were raised with love and care by their proud parents. They went to muggle schools for kindergarten and elementary schools, and spent much of their summers visiting both sets of grandparents in Savannah (though things always seemed more strained as the Chase family household).

As the children grew, so did the differences between the girls. Kendra seemed to turn everything into a competition with her little sister, and Adriana never backed down from a challenge. They would fight over everything, from stupid things like who got the better presents from their parents or grandparents (which lead to them receiving nearly identical presents) to who their brother liked best (Adriana could never keep smug triumph from her face when it was always her that got along best with Oliver).

The rivalry continued into school: Kendra would set the stakes, and Adriana would do whatever she could to meet them. Of course, there were differences - Kendra became an athlete, while Adriana went into cheer instead, but they still made it a competition. Even academics, despite the gap in grades. If Kendra did something well, Adriana had to do it better. So it really came to no surprise when she was sorted into Rienzi upon reaching high school, though it did fuel the rivalry between the sisters more. However, Adriana refused to let it define her. Yes, she maintained her end of the competition, but she also made sure that she got involved in things she was interested and got to know her classmates.

During her sophomore year, she dated Keegan Howe. The relationship was tumultuous though, and ended before the end of the school year (around the same time she cut off her ‘flirtation’ with Rowan Cabot). At the end of her sophomore year, her father told her that he was being transferred to his company’s branch in France and that she was going to be attending Beauxbatons for her junior year. With the awkward way she had ended the year, she didn’t take it as too much of a loss and looked at it as some new and exciting adventure. She spent the entire summer learning French, both because it was going to be helpful and because she hoped it would probably surprise the hell out of many of her new classmates and probably some of the teachers as well. It was her first year in school without her sister to compete against and, despite the brief sense of disorientation she felt at first, she made the most of it.

She was almost sad when her father told her at the end of the year that they would be going back to the states for her senior year, but true to form she quickly turned it around and made it another new experience. She would go back to CCI and amaze everyone with everything she learned while in France.
