At the dawn of time, the God King created the other gods, then began to create this dimension. The first things created were opposites. Something and nothing. Earth and sky. Day and night. Life and death. Finally, man and woman.
The man and woman were small gods in their own right, for their experience gave birth to things. Among those things were a boy and a girl, two easily forgotten spirits that hold the memories of mortals.
The eternal girl, Chronica, is caretaker of memories which are yet to come and whispers of happiness and hope.
The eternal boy, Lost, devours the memories of mortals, causing them to forget and whispers of sadness and despair.
In your lifetime, the boy and girl will visit you many times. There's no escaping either of them.

Have you forgotten anything?

Truth and fantasy, they meld into one in the darkness of memory. A boy and a girl as old as time itself, two sides of a single coin, travel through time bestowing and devouring memories,
Such as...
A childhood devoted to study, and the cold, loveless days that bled together.
Such as...
The sin named [love] commited in innocence, and the sacrifices made for that sin.
Such as...
The days of horror that seemed eternal, fading into peaceful days that end all too soon.
Such as...
[Meetings], [partings], [births] and [deaths]. [Love], [hatred], [happiness] and [sadness].

All of these gifts belong to you until they become Lost.

Have you forgotten anything?
I won't let you escape till you've lost it...

The wind against my face, clouds drifting across a deep blue sky, silence. These things conjure up illusions named memories in my mind. Memories of loved ones who have faded away, memories of triumphs, memories of defeat, memories of days upon days spent with you locked in that library, searching for answers, and memories of a promise exchanged between us.
One day, my own magic will run out and I, too, will fade, but I will never forget that promise. I will live on inside your heart, and like the stars in the night sky, I will watch over you always.

I don't do introductions very well.

So I skip them, and pretend I've been writing on here for a long time.

:)

This week hasn't been too bad. J. was a bit annoying at work this week, which reminds me that I need to check on behaviour management strategies for 3 year-olds in regards to spitting.

HD TV today!! ... As soon as I get myself off to the shops. Heheh...

I've been playing Assassin's Creed 2 quite a bit. Well, by quite a bit, I mean for four hours last night. I don't get much time to play it during the week.

My fingers are cold.
