Alice:
Cathedral. Venerable and solemn: the scent of incense smoke wafting through an ancient church. A true ecclesiatical blend of pure resins.

Alix:
Black Dahlia. Voluptuous magnolias strewn over orchid, star jasmine, black amber and smoky rose.

Amalthea:
Tiger Lily. A feisty bouquet of golden, warm, gently honeyed lilies.

Circe:
Bewitched. Deep, luscious green and berry scents that evoke images of woodland witchcraft and the raw power of nature: blackberry, sage, green tea, wild berries and dark musk.

Claire:
Ultraviolet. Electrifying, mechanized and chilly -- the scent of crushed blooms strewn on cold metal. Lush violet and neroli spiked hard with eucalyptus and a sliver of mint.

Hannah:
Bayou. A lazy, warm deep green scent with a thick aquatic undertone: Spanish moss, evergreen and cypress with watery blue-green notes and an eddy of hothouse flowers and swamp blooms.

Iris:
Bon Viviant. An effervescent blend of crystalline champagne notes and sweet strawberry.

Isabelle:
Budding Moon shines as Spring moves with its first breath, and this scent expresses that burst of life-affirming joy through an olfactory interpretation of Huang Quan's flower-and-bird paintings. Plum blossom, peony, lotus root, Chinese musk and a hint of white ginger.

Izzy:
Muse. A light, invigorating floral and citrus blend. Tuberose, lotus and jasmine with a hint of lime.

Judith:
Forbidden Fruit. As light and innocent as your first time should have been. The fresh scent of lotus hidden behind lightly scented flowers, amber, and citrus.

Madeline:
Wanda. Along with Loviatar, she has become something of a Patron Goddess of all Dominatrixes, Wanda is the breathtakingly beautiful sable-wrapped marble queen of Sacher-Masoch's fantasies. Her scent is a deep red merlot with a faint hint of leather, sexual musk and body heat over crushed roses, violets and myrtle.

Mina:
Queen Alice. Carnation, posies, and white amber with a hint of inky treacle, sandy cider, and wooly wine.

Naima:
Salomé. A scent that is both coquettish and sinister. Exotic and lush, brimming with grace and viciousness: almond with star jasmine, oakmoss, red sandalwood and Egyptian musk.

Opal:
Black Opal. A play of geological darkness and jagged brilliance. Soft and luminescent with flashes of black fire.

Paige:
Carnal. Bold, bright mandarin paired with the sweet, sensual earthiness of fig.

Rosemary:
La Bella Donna Della Mia Mente. Soft, lush myrtle and dry, sweet melilot with wild rose, pomegranate juice and peach blossom against a background of deep aquatic notes and a twirl of melancholy autumn breezes.

Psyche. The tale of Cupid and Psyche is both a perfect love story and an allegory for the soul's search to reunite with Deity. This is the scent of true love, your heart's deepest, purest desires. Bulgar rose, Chinese white musk, lavender, orchid and frankincense.

Sabine:
The Ghost. A thin, sinuous, creeping chill, the scent of glee-filled undeath: white iris, osmanthus, Calla lily, tomb-crawling ivy and a coffin spray of gladiolus, lisianthus and delphinium.

Tara:
Cordelia. The essence of faith, love and devotion: lilac, lemon, green tea, wisteria, osmanthus, white cedar, and Chinese musk.

Tess:
Lolita. Bright, sweet and youthful, but swelling with a poisonous sexuality. Glittering heliotrope, honeysuckle, orange blossom and lemon verbena.

Valancy:
Vixen. Lascivious, flirtatious, and vampy as hell. A true heartbreaker’s perfume. The innocence of orange blossom tainted by the beguiling scents of ginger and patchouli.

More Polyvore

Rich bitch. Complicated. Wears tailored suits, so that made it difficult. Polyvore doesn't offer custom suits for fictional people. Which I personally find represensible, but what are you going to do?

Also, the coat is really in black, but Polyvore was lacking again. Yes, it is the same coat that Dominic has. Apparently it is the coat of choice for dark-haired British people. Who knew? The jeans are Prada, by the way. He really is that kind of person.

Okay, I cannot even pretend that I didn't love doing this set. The boxers I added after the first batch because they are kind of notorious. He also has a pair of Darth Vader boxers not featured here. Mina bought him the gray shirt and the nice shoes. He wears them to interviews and important meetings, which is not really what she intended, but it works. The plaid shirt he guards with his life against Amy. It is comfortable.

Isabelle apparently owns the same three dresses in about forty different permutations. Man can live by black halter tops alone, I guess. The blue Miu Miu coat is exactly what I pictured when I wrote her having one, so. Sometimes Polyvore does not fail my vision. I could also easily do a lingerie collection for her, but I am a busy woman. Sometimes. Not really. In addition, there are no prizes for guessing her favorite color.

Polyvores, Pt. 1

I keep wanting to call these Polidori's for reasons unbenknownest to me. Subliminal crush? Memory problem? You decide.

I had to to do this one first. She started out Valancy Stirling from L.M. Montgomery's The Blue Castle and took off from there. She is also one of my absolute favorite characters and I have been playing her on and off for over three years. She owns a vintage shop called The Cat's Meow and adores purple. In case you didn't notice. She is one of those people who just has to keep expanding their closet because it does not do to let adorable things gone unpurchased. I also picture her with an enormous shoe and lingerie habit, but she can take or leave bags.

Another old school character. He is a vampire from the Victorian era, he has a long and complicated backstory that ends up in him non-ironically donning bow ties. He is also a librarian.

He bought the trainers at the urging of his last girlfriend, wore them once, and then buried them at the back of his closet. He will still haul them out to prove that he owns them.

Yes, his loafers do have tassels.

There is really not a lot to say about Rosie's wardrobe besides the obvious. She likes to play dress up. Her clothes confuse her husband sometimes. Nobody needs that many ruffles or clothes in shades of pink. I think the Miu Miu coat is the best thing about it, by the way.

This is also the wardrobe I personally would go for, if I had my pick.
