Wish Lists!

Helloooo, IP! It's 4am, and Kait and Leigh are...not sleeping, that's for sure. (I haven't thrown up in like 24 hours. Yay!) Instead, we are plotting big things. But we need your help, annnd we want to help you, too!

So here we go. Tell us some things you'd like to accomplish for your characters, but maybe haven't quite worked out yet. For example, Mama Nessa wants to go all hormonal on somebody (one of her siblings, maybe?) but doesn't know who...any volunteers?

Here is what I'd personally like to see sometime soon...
- T.E.A.M.'s "inner circle" of sorts bonding. Sam, Landon, Seth, Spence, Lucy, Gabe...they need to band together and learn to trust each other!
- Our huh-hooligans (Timbo, Suiwi, Lola, Hana, Cove, Ophelia?) also should become tight! I guess the first step would be discovering the ones they don't already know about have powers, but any ideas for havoc they could wreak...
- Eddie and Nessa's wedding! Ahh! They need to get married! My inner romantic is all wriggly just thinking about it.

For my characters specifically...
- Landon needs to do something...important. You know, team-wise, since he's supposed to end up as important. He should also discover that sound manipulation can be used for cooler tricks than tormenting his sister with impersonations of their family members.
- Gabe will be ~~proposing to Alena (Kait: No, Gabriel! Not yet!)~~ starting to put some intense work into mental blocking, learning to force people out of his head and such. When he gets done barfing, that is. Anybody with mentally intrusive abilities willing to help him out there?
- Darcy's secret (shapeshifting) needs to be found out. Eek! She also needs friends in general.
- I was thinking of having Asher do something with his research into powers...but uh...no idea what yet.
- There's more, of course, but I can't think of everything right now. Feel free to holla at my characters for plotting.

Leigh also requests ideas for some premonitions Alena could be having, since it turns out she misses those premonition logs. I have tomorrow off and will hopefully be well enough to not spend its entirety asleep again, so I should be around online, or...I dunno where my phone is or if it's charged, but that's always a good bet as far as getting ahold of me goes as well. So, toss some ideas out, help flesh out those that other people offer up...have fun!

Charles doesn't care what the members of the Order do, as long as it doesn't damage the Order, get in his way, or reveal the Order to the public. Charles facilitates the Order through salaries, and weapons etc, but all resources need to be cleared by him first. It isn't complete anarchy, you stay loyal to the club, and the club will give back to you. It's as simple as that.

This game is a continuation/slight variation on Bad Water RPG at InsaneJournal.

So, what is different?

The Setting
Isle of Palms is a barrier island off the coast of South Carolina in the Atlantic Ocean, population approximately 4,500. The city has a total area of 5.6 miles (4.5 square miles of it is land and 1.1 miles is water). The nearest metropolis is Downtown Charleston, and the nearest city is Mount Pleasant, about fifteen minutes away and the only way to get off of the island is via the Isle of Palms Connector that leads onto the outskirts of Mt. P. The north end of the island is compromised of Wild Dunes Resort and various McMansions - the affluent part of town - while the south end is mainly residents of a more middle class standing. The majority of shops are in the middle of town and nothing is really that far of a walk or drive away. The nearest police station is in Mount Pleasant (the Charleston County Police Department having jurisdiction over the island). If your character attended high school locally they either would have gone to Wando High School, Christ our King-Stella Maris School or The First Baptist School of Mt. Pleasant (all of which are located in Mt. Pleasant).

The Spill
An oil tanker carrying chemicals spilled its cargo off the coast of Isle of Palms in June 2008. It has since seeped into the water supply of the island, bestowing supernatural powers on the inhabitants.

The Rules

...there are no rules.

We're kidding, of course. Every game has rules. We all love each other here, though, so we'll make them brief.

1. Have fun. Duh.

2. Make your ideas known. Participate. Communicate. Want something to happen? If there's a will, there's a way!

3. We love the gays. We also love the straights. Let's keep a nice balance.

4. Please fill out the mini-app for all new and existing characters. We're all good writers here, but this is for easy reference for everybody.

5. There is no character cap. There can be major characters and minor characters. That said, know your limits!

6. The list of powers is more extensive than you might remember. There are two characters allowed per power. Seven pyrokinetics running around would be a little scary.

7. Unless there's a great reason you should change your existing character's power, try to keep them the same as they were in BW. Some of us are easily confused.
