Out of the frying pan...

She'd be tempted to take the few hundred dollars she'd been given and run. Very tempted. In this modern age - she could of been anywhere on the planet by the time anyone had figured out she wasn't where she was supposed to be. But both Dr. McTaggart and Professor Xavier thought it was important to show they trusted her - that given the oppertunity, Natalie Kelly would do the "obviously right thing" and walk off the plane from Scotland, get in a cab, and get her little pyro-butt to Westchester.

Five years. For five years she'd been stuck on that damn island. Five years in a room that she couldn't burn down. Packed off as her father's dirty little political secret that'd destroy his entire platform to "get help". Coulda been worse...there were wispers about some of the hellholes that mutant kids got sent to. Dr. McTaggart *had* been kind to her...and hell, if Xavier could actually help her control this thing...and her anger...maybe she could actually have a real life somewhere without worrying she'd burn down the house in her sleep. She just hoped this Charles Xavier had *excellent* home owners insurance...or a bedroom with an awsome fire supressant system.

So Natalie got off the plane and hailed a cab for Westchester. Out of the frying pan, into the fire...but then again...that's just where she liked it best.
