Just got back from helping my first kid buy all her supplies at Diagon for Hogwarts in September. She started reading her books on the tub ride home-- I don't think I've ever seen someone so excited to learn. She also gave me her lucky ~~penny~~ coin because she said she didn't need it anymore.
