Personality:

Tom Riddle is the charmiest charmer there is. Despite the fact taht he gives off a total air of creepiness, he can make teachers and his fellow students fall in love with him with the simplest smile. He's convincing, conniving, and is so Slytherin it hurts. BUT, unlike most Slytherins, he doesn't alienate people, ofr some reason that no one really quite understands. He's a schemer, and his one big scheme is convincing everyone how awesome of a student he is so as to distract him from his underlying intentions; i.e. the dark arts and, in particular, the chamber of secrets.

Tom is a creeper, and that's really all there is to it. He thinks he is the shit, and it is sort of obvious. He's a Prefect, he's ace in all of his classes, and he's fairly popular. He hate hate hates muggleborns with a passion, because his father was a muggle and he has DADDY ISSUES OKAY. He doesn't openly show it though, he has an image to maintain, but he most definitely thinks they're worthless and hates them with the passion of a thousand suns. He also enjoys poetry and long walks on the beach in the moonlight.

MOTHER, Merope Gaunt, pureblood, DECEASED. Merope magicked her love interest Tom Riddle into loving her, and then they married and she got pregnant. But she didn't like the fact that he faked loved her, so she unmagicked him and then he was like SAY WHAAAT? and left her. She had little Tom in an orphanage wear she died shortly after giving birth to him.

FATHER, Tom Riddle SR., muggle, ???. Was magicked into loving Merope, and when she unmagicked him he ran off like 10 seconds later cause he's sort of an asshat. He lives back with his mummy and daddy and could probably care less about the lives of his exwife and child. BUT HE BETTER WATCH OUT~


History: Merope Gaunt was a pureblood witch who was very mistreated by her father and brother and fell in love with a asshat muggle by the name of Tom Riddle who had absolutely no interest in her whatsoever. Despite this, she magicked him into loving her and the two ran away and married, and soon after, Merope became pregnant. But she felt guilt about the fake loving, and undid the spell, hoping he would still love her. But he didn't, and he left, and Merope had nothing. She was thin, malnourished, and incredibly ill, and when Tom Marvolo Riddle was born, she died shortly after.

Tom Riddle was a very sad, lonely, mean little boy, and had virtually no friends because he was so freaking creepy. He was known for stealing things from the other children and was well known for the incident in the caves. None of the kids really wanted to hang around with him, and he was fine with that, for the most part. He didn't understand it exactly, but he felt different than them, and that scared him. He talked to SNAKES, for crying out loud.

But then a bearded man named Dumbledore came and told him he was a wizard, and Tom Riddle had no qualms with that. He was BETTER than regular people, and one day, he'd show them. So he went to Hogwarts, and kept falling more and more in love with magic, most particularly, the DARK ARTS, DUN DUN DUN.

e recently discovered the chamber of secrets, and spends his spare time trying to tame the strange creature called a basilik. HE IS WEIRD OKAY.
