| I've had the flu again. Ever since I was so sick, I seem much more susceptible to illness in general. Everything that comes through the office, I end up getting it. At least unlike that one horrible illness, potions knock the germs out fairly easily.
[Warded to Braith] It's been a bit since I've seen you. I know you're busy with work; I am as well. It seems we ought to be able to make a bit of time for each other, though. | comments: Leave a comment |
| | It's terrible! I feel the start of a cold coming as well :( I'm trying to stick it out to be healthy for Frank's birthday though, ha. | | (Reply) (Thread) |
| And I almost died, I know but I mean--It's your BIRTHDAY and- Can't I just take some potion? It's definitely not the same as last time. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| Yes, you can take a potion that the Healer will hand to you after we go for a visit.
You know they said you're more likely to get sicker than other people because of the virus. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| BUT TOMORROW IS YOUR BIRTHDAY FRANK I CANNOT MISS YOUR BIRTHDAY BECAUSE---WELL JUST BECAUSE THAT IS REASON ENOUGH!
But tomorrow's your birthday and I can't make an appointment for today because it's too late! And now I need to throw up! | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Then let's find one of our Healer friends, I'm sure they won't mind. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| FRAAAAAAAAAAANK I NEEEEEED TO MAKE A CAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE--- Fine. You find one though. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | He does make a good point, Alice. I understand - I don't especially care for going to the healer over every little thing, either. It might be worth the trouble in this case, though. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I suppose they did say our immune systems would be a bit weaker after the virus...but I don't think it's the same thing? Last time was awful, now I'm just tired. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | That sounds like what I had. I was tired and achey and had a bit of a fever. I went to the Healer, though, and one potion later I was back to my usual self. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Oh, good luck! There's nothing more dreadful than being sick when you ought to be having fun. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| Yes, yes, I think I'm going to start baking tonight so everything's all ready for tomorrow.
Would you like anything! | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I'm actually feeling much better now! But thank you very much for offering. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I'll probably bring in cookies for the office just in case :) Lots of extra for the Doge brothers. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | The Brothers Doge definitely require a great deal of extra cookies. I suspect they may actually be magical devices created for the sole purpose of consuming huge amounts of food. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | There is certainly plenty of evidence to back it up! Have you ever seen them with a cake? It's actually a little frightening. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |

| Well, see, the thing about that is It isn't like I'm ashamed of you but I'm
Things have been terribly hectic, I'm afraid. I don't know if things will be letting up in the near future at all... | | (Reply) (Thread) |

| I had been operating under the assumption that you actually liked spending time with me. If that's the case and you do want to see me, I would be happy to see you. If you don't, I'm not going to make a fool of myself badgering you about it. I'm a grown woman and perfectly capable of moving on. I just thought things had been going so well. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |

|
| You had been operating under a correct assumption, Rosalie, but you know that things aren't always as simple as I'd like them to be.
It is rather selfish of me to consider asking you to not move on considering I'm a terrible amount of trouble
I am aware you are a grown woman. I would like to see you soon. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |

| And sometimes you make things more complicated than they are.
All right. I'm free most of this weekend. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |

Saturday will be very nice. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
