Roxanne Ashford was born on January 2, 1983 in Miami, Florida. Her father was a lawyer, graduated Harvard with honors and her mother is both a writer and an editor for The Miami Herald. Roxanne is the yougnest of two, having an older brother who was at least two years older than she was. For a few years it was difficult for the youngest Campbell to adjust to living in a large city with so many things to do. Her parents did as much as they could to spend all their time with their children, but her mother had to hire a nanny, Bridget Summers, to tend for the two kids. Bridget was big on music even at the ripe age of forty-two, always bringing albums of The Beatles for the children to listen to in order for them to fall asleep. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was one of the main albums used to lull the two to sleep. Despite not being around her parents fairly much, Roxanne developed a strong bond with Bridget and would rely on her for guidence, help, and would always talk to her about any problems going on with her life. Roxanne trusted her with her life and never wanted her to go.

By the time Roxanne entered elementary school, she endured endless teasing and torture from her fellow classmates because of the glasses she had received when she turned five. Roxanne's eyesight was poor that her mother had taken her to the eye doctor and purchased a set of glasses for her daughter. She hated wearing them from the moment she got them, but she ended up wearing them at school. All the girls made fun of her for the way she looked and called her names that no child should hear. Instead of breaking down and crying like everyone else would, she lunged at the ones that were teasing her and threw punches all at the age of six. Everyone crowded around the group and watched as Roxanne taught them all a lesson. She ended up getting in trouble yet it made Roxanne feel more confident with herself. Since that day, every girl was terrified of even uttering a single word in Roxanne's direction without flinching or hiding behind the teacher's desk. While she sat in class, she broke out her notebook and began drawing whatever came to her mind. At the end of the year, she had at least two and a half notebooks filled up with sketches, drawings and even paintings at one point. Bridget told her one day that with the ideas Roxanne had, she could make it big in art if she set her mind to it.

High school was a challenge in the beginning for Roxanne, but she didn't have any problems. Her parents supported her throughout all four years and her father used his old office to turn into an art room for Roxanne with an easel, tarp, and paint supplies. Roxanne was very honored to have both parents supporting her and letting her follow her dreams to become an artist. She took an art class all four years so she could better prepare herself for what's next to come. After graduating from high school, Roxanne packed her bags and moved to New York to attend NYU. She enrolled in the Institute of Fine Arts in hopes to earning a Master of Fine Arts where she could continue her career in the same field. She lived on campus for about a year then moved out to an apartment with a roommate. For the next couple of months, she went through hell with her first roommate until Roxanne moved to another apartment complex to live with another one. Unfortunately, it was the same experience but this time, she lived with her roommate for the next three years. Her roommate soon moved out when she became engaged, leaving the apartment in Roxanne's care, so now she was on a hunt to find someone else to come live with her.

Enter Bryson Campbell.

It happened when Roxanne was on a search for a new roommate. She sent out flyers around the campus and even a few around the city and managed to receive a phone call from Bryson one day. After exchanging information, asking him questions about his living environment and if he'd have no trouble moving in soon, the plan was now cemented. She found her new roommate. Only thing was she didn't expect him to be a very attractive guy who happened to be in medical school. It was a difficult first few days for the two but after a day of making brownies that turned into making a mess, both soon grew closer together. After almost sleeping together early, they decided it was best to let it wait and see how their relationship would turn out. Roxanne was head over heels for him and she was glad to have found someone like Bryson. A few months later after making lunch for Roxanne, Bryson had slipped a fake ring in a piece of her brownie, shocking her even after he proposed with the real ring. They waited a couple more months before they were married in front of the close family members in Hawaii with the sunset in the background.

Now the two of them moved out of New York once they graduated from their prospective colleges and decided to continue their life in a new city and state: New Orleans, Louisana. They bought a house near the French Quarter and have been active in the city events that have happened. Their marriage is still strong and their love doesn't seem to be dwindling anytime soon.
