It had juxtaposed strangely with the story she was used to, of course. Poor, sweet old Mr. Sinestro, murdered long since, had often given many in the Underground hope that people could change for the better. So when the JLA heard that he and his associates were attacking those kids in Chicago, she knew this was going to be serious.

And boy, was it. The two teams had been scattered. The last Margery had seen of anyone besides the person she was with, Jon was trying to contain things while The Lady -- um, Cindy Lord, that was it, had gotten right in Sinestro's face. That hadn't appeared to be going well.

 In the Safe World, it was Fall.

Fall was good. She could concentrate okay in Fall.  Very blustery day. That was all right.  As the weird flashy lights from Uncle Eddie's Machine faded, Margery tried to remember the rules.   It was safe here, but don't trust anyone who looks like Papa or Uncle Eddie or anyone in the family, because they're not. Everybody was different; everybody was new.

All the new people around here, however, were running away.  "I don't want to hurt anybody!" Margery assured. But no one seemed to be listening.

Codename (if using one): Margery Daw.

Abilities: Superstrength. Invulnerability. Unknown Regenerative/Resurrective capacity.
Weaknesses and flaws: Cognitive capacity wavers with the weather and can be very limited.  Obtrusive. Shy.  Unfamiliar with this facet of reality.
Character location/Home: None, now. Originally, a very alternate England.
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Heroine, albeit scared and confused.
Team:  JLA?
Relatives (living/dead?): Sir Solomon Grundy of the Justice Underground (sole parent, deceased).
Backstory:
In the facet of reality that is home to the Crime Syndicate of Amerika, Sir Solomon Grundy, the Justice Underground's hewn-from-cliffstone powerhouse, watched his friend Edward marry and have children and wanted a little of that for himself. So he went back home to Dover and, with some research into mysticism, ended up with a daughter out of the same stones.  Named after children's rhymes about dirt and slow workers, Margery Daw Grundy was a large stone creature but a quiet, sensitive child, her development erratic.
When Sir Solomon was murdered by Ultraman (on a Saturday, because it was funnier that way),  Margery's Uncle Eddie, the Quizmaster, began his first experiment in getting the children, at least, away from their hellworld with Margery.  

The result is that she has some basic warnings from Uncle Eddie but no idea what is going on.
