As incongruous as it might seem in the face of all his other cultivated skills, Adric Fandralsson always found gardening to be strangely meditative. Pulling weeds, managing seedlings, warding off pests, harvesting. Even if it was only his little patch of earth behind their home, Adric treasured it. And when all was said and done, he did grow some very nice leeks and cabbages. Onions were still a bit trickier, and the crops of berries varied from year to year, but he'd managed quite nicely.

So, anyone that comes across the ranger will find him looking very much at peace, gardening trowel in hand, as he works at liberating a particularly nasty weed that had sprung up during his most recent absence. The acid drakes had been harder to track than he'd anticipated, and leading the more heavily armed individuals to them, without alerting their quarry, had been an even greater challenge. Still, it had all been settled in good form, with no casualties, and acceptable injuries; and Adric now had a set of blow-darts carved from drake-fang among his equipment.

Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: Terry / terrykun
Email: tj_mccarron@yahoo.com
AIM (if you have one): GoggleBoy83

Character Name: Adric Fandralsson
Character LJ: shamelessly
Physical description (face, build, weight):
Age: 24
Birthday: July 18
PB: Kit Harington as Jon Snow

Abilities:(Standard Asgardian ability set) (copied from nextgen wiki):

Super Strength: He can press/lift up to around 35 tons.

Superhuman Stamina: Like all Asgardians, Adric’s muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than those of humans allowing him to operate at peak levels for longer periods of time.

Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Adric’s body are also considerably harder and more resistant to injury than those of a human.

Superhuman Longevity: Adric, like all other Asgardians, isn't immortal in the same sense some other god pantheons. Adric ages at a pace far slower than a human being. The consumption of the Golden Apples of the goddess Idun is essential to an Asgardian maintaining their physical vigor, though Adric has not yet had to ingest any of the apples so far due to his young age.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his high resistance to injury, it is possible to injure Adric. If injured, his body is capable of repairing damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than the body of a human being. Serious injuries such as missing limbs can only be healed by magical means.

Superhumanly Dense Tissue: As with all Asgardians, Adric’s skin, muscle, and bone tissues have 3 times the density of the same tissue in the body of a human being, contributing somewhat to his superhuman strength and weight.

Exceptionaly Strong Will: Like all Asgardians, Adric possesses a very strong will making him resistant to powers and abilities that rely on willpower.

Magic: Moderate magical talent, mostly in relation to woodcraft and/or stealth. Adric specializes in moving silently, and unseen, and communing with his surroundings.

Aesir: Adric can speak English, German and a number of the languages of northern Europe, but is primarily fluent in the language of the Norse gods. When he speaks, all listeners understand what he's saying in an archaic version of their own native language, hence the Norse gods speaking Middle English.

Other skills:
Adric is skilled in survival tactics and hand to hand combat, as well as the normal suite of Asgardian combat prowess. He employs a light blade, similar to his father and brother, for dueling purposes. For most purposes, however, he favors an array of knives. Lots, and lots, of knives. He is one of the most experienced of his age in woodcraft in all of Asgard, being versed in tracking, survival, hunting, trapping, and scouting, among other skills. He favors footwork and kicks, accompanied by knives, as his depth perception is flawed due to missing an eye.
Moderate skills in horsemanship.
Trained in a variety of 'less tasteful' methods of combat (poison, garrotte, blowgun, etc).

Character location/Home: Asgard, visiting Midgard
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero
Relatives (living/dead?): Fandral the Dashing (father, living), Tilda of the Crimson Hawks (living), Brandr (living)
Backstory: Adric inherited the same love of adventure as his father and brother, but was rather quieter about it. He preferred to train himself in the forests and other wild places of the Realms, testing himself against nature and beasts. This caught up to him at age sixteen, when during a conflict with a troll while on a hunt (he still has not divulged all the details), he lost one eye. The time it took to get back to Asgard following the incident prohibited even healing magics from restoring it. He wears a glass replacement, and also bears several scars from the battle. It was at that point forward that Adric decided he was never interested in a fair fight again. There would always be things that simply Needed To Be Done that could not be burdened by notions of fair play or decency. He re-dedicated himself to his woodcraft, but also studied assassination, poisons, and a limited knowledge of subterfuge. He has never allowed himself to become fatalistic, only pragmatic. He has a dry wit, but is far from humorless. he admires his brother greatly, while being frequently mortified by him as well. He declined the path towards entering the Crimson Hawks, feeling that his talents lay elsewhere. He is on good terms with the children of his father's closest comrades, and is especially fond of the residents of the Forest of Wolves.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: He will accompany Brandr to Midgard, intending to assist him with his newly appointed task.
What are you planning to do with this character? Not long after that, he's going to join the Champions. Not sure of the why and how yet.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: Interactions with other godlings, exploring Midgard culture.
