Svalin nodded. Now she wasn't quite sure what to say. Small talk, as Vernique called it, wasn't one of Svalin's strong points. It wasn't really a point.

Her hands stopped their sharpening her sword and came to rest. Svalin leaned into him. She wasn't going to think about their time coming to end. She was just going to enjoy the moment.
