pretty much what it says on the tin. it's the day the convicts landed in botany bay and they dumped all the criminals and australia was born and then they went and took all the land off the aborigines so people celebrate by drinking a whole lot and... apparently cockroach racing? i don't know i hate my country and refuse to associate with it clings to my british citizenship
