she was the owner's wife, she was really rich on her own to the point where she didn't have to work but she spent her entire life working with charities like the boys and girls club and donated upwards of $15 million (i think that's the lower end of the estimates) to various charities by the time she died of cancer before the season started Image that's an article about how much the team and the fans loved and adored her
