	why didn't things work out between dia and alfie? answer as vaguely as you wish! i'm not trying to get dirt or anything but character dynamics fascinate me and it was interesting to see them kind of fall apart when everyone thought they'd work out romantically (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	there wasn't really as much going on as everyone speculated, their interactions for the most part were primarily friendly but reasons. alfie is really great though and was one of my favorite people to talk to here (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	i mean from alfie's narrative and what was made public it seemed like it had potential but kind of faded away on dia's part, and i was wondering if there was a reason for that! but thank you for answering (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	neither of them really acted on whatever feelings were there and things in dia's life generally have been very complicated, with having her first prophecy and it being such a horrible thing for her to have foreseen without being able to prevent, and everything with her mother. it just wasn't something she was thinking about (Reply to this)(Parent)
