Hermione Granger is, unsurprisingly, still dead, still tutoring students in the Hogwarts library, and still relatively pleased with her post-life. After a rather awkward making up with Ron this last fall (She thinks it was fall. Was it fall? Time is fairly relative now.), she has been sure to send him pages of information that relate to obliviation, occlumency, and legilimency. Though she still does not see why Ron is infatuated with a large, loud Slytherin, she is working on accepting it.

In other news, Hermione has recently found a publisher for her book, A Concise Critique of Recent Wizarding Historical Records, which examines wizarding history books of the last 500 years and critiques their methods, findings, and bias against the historical contributions witches, other beings, and wizards of mixed blood have made. Professor Binns is not pleased, since Hermione has much to say about his books and most of is not positive. Amongst the ghosts, it is rumored that Binns thinks Granger is after his job, which she isn't at all.
