During the conflicts at Hogwarts, both of them stuck it out at the school, and thankfully, made it out alive. They married soon after they graduated and had their bundle of negativity—Amy. Even though they were very well off financially, and provided their daughter with everything and anything that she could ever want, it did not change her personality in the least.

Instead of being “girly” like her mother, Amy was into sports—Muggle and Wizarding alike. Despite the constant reminder at home that her unladylike behavior was a big “no-no”, Amy’s life went pretty smoothly. She beat up bullies in her first year… beat up Hufflepuffs in her second year… spent most of her third year in detention—as well as her fourth year—and hadn’t started to “shape up” until her fifth and six year.

And when I say “shape up”, I mean she only gets detention monthly, now… not weekly.

Personality: Amy has spunk—too much, actually. If anybody even gives a hint that they have a problem with her in any way, she’ll turn on them before they even have a chance to take a breath. If provoked even further, prepare for conflict—she may be scrawny-looking, but she’ll jab her boney knuckles into any part of a body that she can make contact with. Her excitable personality “flaw” has landed her in many detentions over the years, but she hasn’t changed her ways, and is convinced that she never will.

When in the company of friends or acquaintances, she is not so quick to get physical if a joke is said about her; however, she still reacts in a defensive manner, whether it is the usage of sarcasm, bitterness, or her ever-so-famous “silent treatment” as a response. Ask anyone who knows her about this trademark reaction of hers, and they’ll either tell you it’s amusing as hell, annoying as fuck, or something you just learn to ignore.

Of course, Amy is not always a bitch. If caught in a good mood, one can see a very pleasing side of the female teen. Her laughter is often described as a bit odd, but contagious—her smile crooked, but pleasing—and her topics of conversations stupid but enjoyable. Overall, she’s just one of the guys… at heart, at least.

There are times where the girl part of her makes itself known, though. Amy suffers from an extremely distorted view of herself, causing her to see an unattractive girl in the mirror when she is actually pretty nice-looking. Not many people know of this flaw of hers, seeing as she doesn’t even know about it herself.

Major Details:
• At a glance, Amy looks like a young girl of about thirteen years of age, though taller than most females in that age group (she stands at about 5’7”). It isn’t until one talks to the owner of the thin, seemingly un-aging bag of bones that they realize that the teen is quite a number of years older than they first thought.

For this girl, puberty didn’t occur until a few months before her sixteenth birthday. Her parents blame it on the fact that she’s overly athletic during the summer when she comes home (football, running, Quidditch, and swimming make up every week of her break) and doesn’t eat all that much that her body matured late, and not even fully. However, the teen is grateful—she’d take a boyish figure over one supporting wide hips and uncomfortable breasts any day.

• On further inspection of another part of her body, her hands, one can see that she is an avid nail biter.

• LIKES - Smoking, muggle television (shhh, it’s a secret), football, Quidditch, swimming, running, baggy clothing, tall guys, cruel humor, guy humor, getting in fights with Gryffindors, getting in fights in general, biting her nails, not doing homework and making others do it for her, hanging out at the lake, skipping class

• DISLIKES - her appearance, pumpkin juice, Gryffindors, nerds, cowardly Hufflepuffs, detention, getting caught, being insulted, losing (at anything), lack of control, girly things, shopping for clothes with her mother

PB: Blake Lively.

WRITING SAMPLE

Her head tilted to one side, halted for a moment, and then flopped over to the other side. Blue eyes narrowed in a glare at her reflection, whom glared right back at her with just as much hatred as was being exuded originally.

One could walk by and think she was practicing making faces that would be aimed at younger students or other houses, but every look that was thrown at the mirror were for her and her alone.

“Ugh,” Amy whispered in disgust as she turned away and headed out of the dorm room to the common room, hoping to find something to distract her from her negative thoughts. Every morning she had to deal with seeing herself, critiquing herself, hating herself—but who didn’t hate a part of themselves? Nobody was perfect, after all.

“Move outta my way!” the blonde hissed at a few Third Years who were giggling as they slowly shuffled about in front of her. “Little brats…” she added after they had jumped off to the side.

She chose to ignore their hushed insults—beating up children would harm her reputation.
