Physical description (face, build, weight): Ben is 5’10 (it irks him that his sister is an inch taller than him, he hopes this is temporary) with a slim, athletic build. He has dark brown hair and eyes, and looks like Peter might have when he was younger, if he’d ditched the glasses and stood up straight more often.

Abilities: Ben does not possess any super-human abilities at this time, but may develop spider-powers in the future. In the meantime, Ben possesses the alien symbiote once worn by Venom, which grants him all of Spider-Man’s abilities. Ben is in excellent physical shape for his age, as he is involved in school sports. The symbiote is vulnerable to sonics and fire. The symbiote, in addition to providing the wearer with the powers of Spider-Man, can also mimic any form of clothing, and camouflage itself and the wearer when necessary.
Weaknesses and flaws: Without the costume, Ben is a regular human being with all the frailties there of. Ben is also a bit of a jackass at times, and while he has something of his father’s wit, it is more often used for wise-ass comments. Ben is also resentful of what he perceives as his father’s favoritism toward his older sister, May

Backstory: Benjamin Parker is the second of the Parker children, and to hear him tell it, he really is second in every way possible. He’s always been more of an active, rough and tumble child, declining to watch Dad and May play with her chemistry set in favor of climbing trees and on the roof on numerous occasions (to his mother's endless consternation). Ben enjoys physical activity, and relishes his time on the basketball court and on the football field. Playing for Midtown High, Ben is a far cry from the boy his father was at his age: he’s popular, he has lots of friends and the only freshmen to make it on the varsity basketball squad in years.
This is a source of tension between father and son, as Ben does only the minimum necessary (B’s and C’s) to remain eligible for school sports and keep his parents off his back. Ben has no love for science, or school in general, except for his journalism class, which he gets an A in every semester. He’s an excellent camera man and has a summer job with the Daily Bugle, one of the few things he and Peter have in common. Ben’s largest issue is that his sister inherited their father’s powers, and that it seems Dad wanted May to take over the Spider-Legacy all along, despite saying that he didn’t want May crime-fighting at all. Ben hasn’t developed any powers at all, and wonders if he’s destined to always be “the OTHER “Parker kid, no matter how great he is at photography or how many points he scores during his games. Ben’s increasing neglect drew the attention of the being that once possessed his father, the Venom symbiote. The symbiote thought that this human would be just another meal in its endless quest for a host it could bond with, but finding Ben was a great deal like getting Peter Parker back. It has staved off some of its deadlier appetites as it wants to give Ben the power he seeks, while proving to Peter, in a twisted way, that it has changed for the better.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Ben goes to Midtown High, and can always interact with May or simply be out and about. I intend for him to link up with the Symbiote very shortly and start fighting crime behind his parents’ backs.
What are you planning to do with this character?: Ben is going to provide a bit of a problem for May at first, and hopefully learn that he doesn’t always need powers to be a worthwhile person or hero. Eventually, I’d like to see him gain powers without the suit and choose where he’ll go from there.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I’d like to see Ben possibly join a new incarnation of the New Warriors and become a hero in his own right. Also, I’d like to see him get along better with his dad.
